In 2007, the City of Tucson Department of Procurement was faced with an outdated website, an unstable database, limited access to data, and no budget. Further, website management had become over-burdensome and the website lacked updated functionality. What's an agency to do? Get creative!! In this session, well look at ways procurement can increase its customer service through creative uses of technology using limited staff and funding.

B. A Better Brain –A Better Life (Gifts to Give Your Brain): Room 161

Carol Burnett, Optimum Brain Institute Join us in this fast-paced, high energy workshop where we will explore numerous “brain fitness” strategies - gifts to give your brain. It has, however, been sadly predicted by some researchers that approximately 70 percent of all people may eventually face some decline in their cognitive abilities. Thus, we have come to the stark realization that an increased life span without an increased brain span is quite tragic. And with this realization we have progressed to a new era - “the brain fitness ” era. What are you doing to keep your brain fit? Attend this workshop and step into the brain fitness revolution! Can Your Brain Handle The Fun?
