“HOPE IN THE SIGNS”
Mark 13:24-37 (NLT)
Here’s what Jesus assures us of, through SIGNS he sends:
I. THE SIGNS ASSURE US THAT ________________ _______________!
A. See Mark 13:26 & 28; 1 John 3:1a.
II. THE SIGNS ASSURE US THAT ________________ ____________________ & THAT _______________ ____________________.
A. See Mark 13:27, 34-37.
Assuring facts to hang on to today—promises of 2nd Advent:
There are __________ references in the OT, with a total of _____ OT books that give it prominence.
Of the _____ chapters in the NT, there are _____ references to the 2nd Coming—1 out of 30 verses.
_____ of the _____ NT books refer to the 2nd Coming of Christ.
For every prophecy on the 1st Coming of Christ (birth), there are _____ on the 2nd Coming of Christ (return).
Conclusion: God gives us SIGNS to give us HOPE. Don’t let Jesus catch you snoozin’…

With your help the youth are hoping to collect bottles of Suave Body Wash (15 or 18 FL OZ), any scent. A team from Trinity will be creating a simple ornament to attach to the wrapped bottles. These gifts will be taken to Hope Health & Hope Senior Living to be distributed to each tenant and resident for Christmas.
If interested in participating, please place the body wash you purchased (specifically requesting 15 or 18 FL OZ Suave Body Wash for uniformity) in the box located in the church library by December 8th. We appreciate your help to be able to provide this special gift for our senior friends!
We have increased the goal to 90 bottles in order to include a group
of seniors in our church family who do not get to share our company often.

help. Gifts need to be in to the
office or the 3rd/4th grade
classroom by December 15th.
Share your Christmas Cards!
Here at Trinity we are one big family! This year we will be starting a new tradition. Starting now– the New Year, a bulletin board will be placed in the connections room for all to share their Christmas cards. Feel free to add your photo card or greeting card for all to enjoy. Happy Holidays!

The mission of the United Methodist Church is
“To make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world” … exactly
what Jesus called all followers to do. God’s vision for Trinity UMC and how we
will accomplish the UM Mission is purposefully simple:
~Love (both God & people; Matthew 22:37-38 & 39-40)
~Grow (intentionally; Ephesians 3:17; 2 Peter 1:2)
~Serve (just like Jesus did; Matthew 20:26b-28
These three simple phrases help us stay focused on what is really important…
LOVE, GROW, and SERVE. That’s why we’re here. It’s that simple.
