Andy Mulligan

Andy Mulligan grew up in London, England and he was educated at Oxford University. He worked at a theatre in London as a theatre director for ten years before going to travel throughout Asia, which made him want to become a teacher because he felt sorry for uneducated children. He taught English and drama in India, Brazil, Vietnam, the Philippines and the UK. He now lives in the Philippines which he thinks is a lovely place. Andy is currently working at The British School in Manila but still visits the UK occasionally to talk to school children about his writing.

He wrote "Trash" to show the developed world what life is like for some kids in developing countries.
