There is an appeal process, and this will become official next Monday, although I have been asked by many community members of the outcome to the position so felt it important to let everyone know. I am truly honoured and thrilled to be able to continue working at Towamba School and will promise you that myself and the staff at Towamba School will always be striving to do our best to ensure the best in students outcomes and wellbeing at Towamba School. Finally I would like to thank the school and the wider community for being so welcoming when I first arrived back in June. It is also a very exciting time of year for a variety of reasons as we head into the final few weeks of school with swimming lessons all next week, school play rehearsal in full swing, and today I am visiting The University of Wollongong with the Year 6 students to give them an insight into future options when they leave school. It is a really interesting topic discussing with the students what they think they may like to do when they leave school, and as we all know the children have many more years of investigating and changing their minds as they get older. At this stage some of the career paths that came up were jeweller, aeronautical engineer, dancer, nature photographer, bike mechanic and a 3D modeller.
