IMPORTANT RULES TO FOLLOW
1. All students must take IGCSE English and IGCSE Mathematics.2. All students must take at least one Science subject (from Physics, Chemistry,Biology and Environment Management).3. All Arab students must take Arabic in Option 5.4. All Muslim students must take Islamic Education (non IGCSE) and all studentswill get general P.E. once a week.5. Select 5 subjects from the list ( one from each option) which you would wantin your option.6. Please note that you need to get minimum 60% in your Year 9 subjects totake the extended version of that subject in IGCSE.7. Please note that a subject will continue only if there are minimum 15students in that subject option.

Paper 1 1 hour 45 min Coursework Centre-based Assessment
Section A:Candidates answer short answer questions on each of the three units: Factors affecting performance, Health, safety and training, Reasons and opportunities for participation in physical activity.Section B:Candidates answer three structured questions, one from each of the three units they have studied.
Candidates choose to undertake four practical activities from at least two of the seven categories listed (50% of total marks). (For your practical marks, you have to be assessed in 3 different sports + Athletics). Candidates must show the ability to analyse and improve practical performance in one of their four chosen practical activities (10% of marks).
