Texas A&M University Football Recruitment Media

The regular series of mailers put out by the Aggie Football Department is a departure from traditional collegiate advertisement. Targeted at recruiting potential student athletes, these works appeal to high school football players and influence their decision on where to play at the next level.

12th man forever Super Bowl XLVIII Advertising Campaign

The Texas A&M University Football Department prides itself on it’s year-round recruiting schedule to gather the best talent in high school football. Aiming to capitalize on arguably the largest annual sporting match in the world, this campaign highlights A&M alumni playing for the Seattle Seahawks, victors in the 48th Super Bowl. Using the unique “12th Man” tradition of both the Aggies and the Seahawks, these designs correlate a high school player’s college choice with NFL success. The cool, teal lighting

reinforces the Seahawks team colors, while the maroon irises allude to the athletes’ alma mater.

Wellborn Road ProductionsFilm Studio Identity Design

“A modern interpretation of the cowboy – an honorable way of doing business stemming from western values that has been embedded into Texas culture.” This given description fueled the thinking behind the studio’s design, leading into their first film: a documentary surrounding the Texas A&M University move into the South Eastern Conference. The duo of slab serifs, a vertical layout on warm cream, and a logomark badge all help invoke a

western mood without feeling “hokey” or forced.

Joy in the JourneyMinistry Retreat Identity Design

Pro bono advertising for the First Baptist Church of Waco’s annual women’s retreat, this project was aimed at avid female churchgoers of all ages, with a larger emphasis on those in the thirty to fifty range. Provided with the name

and a rough description of the event, I delivered logo, poster, copy, registration form, and t-shirt design.

Hex Tactical ResourcesSmall Arms Instruction Logo Redesign

A firearms training and consultation company, Hex Tactical Resources refers to its media outlet and team as “The Hive.” As such, this logo reflects the nature of their namesake by means

of an edgy honeycomb of six hexagons.
