Meet Harold Baker Having watched the Fountains of Franklin being built, Harold admired the architectural design. His contracting background often caused him to critique a bit more closely than the average person. So, Harold decided to tour the Fountains and found it was just what he had anticipated. Harold was looking forward to making new friends, and even had some follow him here to the Fountains. He was impressed with the care from the Staff and the activities that were offered. Harold grew up in Ohio, graduated from Carlisle High School, attended University of Cincinnati and moved to Franklin in 1981. Over the years, he worked as an industrial construction contractor and was Senior Vice President for three different companies. Over the years, Harold has enjoyed his hobby of collecting cars, ranging from antiques to hot rods. Some he drove and some he sold. He won many awards and loved the car shows. He is thankful for his three children, Steve, Dean and Cathy, who have blessed him with five grandchildren. Harold enjoys family gatherings for the holidays and birthdays. When you ask Dean about his dad, he will tell you that he is a “can do” person and extremely resourceful. We are glad that Harold is a part of our Fountains’ family! It is almost the holiday season. e turkey and all good desserts are around the corner. Meet Jim BradleyJim has worked in construction most of his life and has performed residential maintenance for apartments and condominiums. He also previously worked at Maristone of Franklin, another local Assisted Living community and decided he had found his “niche.” He made many friends there including Ann Longley, Eddie and Marie Colon and Jerry and Lois Wesslen, who are now all residents at the Fountains of Franklin. When an opportunity became available here, Ann and Eddie referred Jim to the Fountains, giving him a great reference. While Jim enjoys his work, his relaxation time consists of fishing and working in his yard. He is fortunate to have a large family, including five children and seven grandchildren. They are scattered around the United States from California to New York. When you ask him how the Fountains of Franklin compares to his past job, he will tell you that the atmosphere is great; everyone seems to enjoy their job and has a good attitude. Jim hopes that the Fountains of Franklin will be the last job he has. He is 58 years old and jokingly says he hopes we can put up with him another seven years until his retirement. He says,

“After that I’ll see if there is an empty room!” Jim, we are glad you are here and you have already made a great addition to our Fountains’ family.
