FRESHERS 2015The Union is best placed to help your business communicate directly, effectively and cost efficiently to over 12,000 students and 2,000 University staff who help support them. Freshers WeekFreshers Week is the biggest and best week of the year! Starting on Saturday 12th September and running for over a week, Freshers is the single greatest opportunity to get your message out to new and returning students. The focus each year is the Freebie Fayre, which takes place on Monday 14th September 2015. The Union Handbook 2015/16The Union Handbook is not only the official guide to Freshers Week, nor is it only the official guide to the Students’ Union, it’s the OFFICIAL University Diary distributed to all new students! The Diary is distributed FREE to all new students, 4,000 copies in total! So whether it’s an offer you want to promote to the student body or particular services you want to highlight, it offers direct access at an affordable price with year-long exposure. ONSITEWant to make sure students see you throughout the year? No problem. We offer a range of on-site ways to promote exclusively to students. This can take the form of a stall in the Students’ Union starting at just £75 (outwith Freshers and ReFreshers), leaflet distribution and poster distribution. We can handle large quantities and offer exclusive Union locations in which to ensure your activity receives the attention you want amongst the student body. We recieve a large number of requests to distribute posters for businesses but will only do so for those who have directly booked marketing activity.
The Facts:Union stalls are available for £75 per day, with discounts offered when booking 2 or more days. Leaflet distribution is available at a cost of £100 per 1,000.Poster distribution at a cost of £100 per 100 (A3 format or smaller).We also offer 2 exclusive A1 sites within the Union at a cost of £100 (subject to suitability).All posters will remain in place for 2 weeks. All materials to be distributed/displayed must be provided.

Sports Ball The culmination of a year of sporting successes, the Sports Ball is the stand out event in the sporting calendar. As well as 2 complimentary tickets, your name/logo will be used during the Awards as well as online in advance of the event, promotion through Union social media, recognition at the event as well as the option to present the Award you are sponsoring. Cost: £500.
Clubs &and Societies Ball Undoubtedly the biggest event within our Communities Zone, the event captures the imagination of all the representatives from all our clubs and societies who attended. It recognises the outstanding efforts made and accomplishments of each club. This event is organised with a strong theme in mind, creating a vivid memory for those in attendance. In return for sponsorship, you get 2 complimentary tickets, your name/logo will be used during the Awards as well as online in advance of the event, promotion through Union social media, recognition at the event as well as the option to present the Award you are sponsoring. Cost: £400.
RATEThe Union’s pioneering Recognising Achievement in Teaching Excellence Awards recognise the tremendous work undertaken across the University by academic staff. In 2014/15 almost 800 students directly engaged with the programme. This opportuntity provides the chance to feature your organisation on posters, trifolds, certificates, Ceremony Booklets, banners and more! You would also be invited to the Awards Ceremony, attended by Award recipients and senior University personnel. Cost: £400.
Volunteer AwardsA new initiative being launched this year. The Students’ Union is dedicated to celebrating the volunteering efforts made by students throughout the Stirling community, on and off campus. This event is seeking a sponsor to assist in delivery for an inaugural Awards night. Volunteering plays a huge part of student life at Stirling. 13 awards have been identified for individual students and groups who actively contributed to the student community and beyond through volunteering from sports coaching to student mentoring projects. This event relates to both student union and University volunteering and so offers a unique prospect of raising awareness through the entire student body.Cost: £500 for exclusive sponsorship of this event; inclusion in all media pre and post-event, inclusion on all publicity and recognition at the event.
REFRESHERS 2016After Christmas, students can’t wait to get back to us in January…. Why? ReFreshers! Featuring a wide range of events focused on new and returning students, it’s that perfect opportunity to engage (or simply re-engage) with the student market. With a footfall of over 2,000 new and returning students, it’s the perfect way to launch your business with the student community in the New Year so why not take advantage of our Premium package which includes not only a Premium stall at ReFreshers 2016 but also a one month web advert on the Union website.
