What happens
when chronic disease
moves out of the cell and gets ‘stuck’?
The Cell – chronic disease; pain;
daily niggles
Lymph – fuzzy head, heavy body,
mucous discharge i.e. colds, lymph
glands enlarged
Blood – pain (‘itis’), irritation, exacerbation of existing symptoms,
itchy skin, rash
Liver – bloated, nausea, vomiting,
diarrhoea, constipation, anger, poor
decision making, haemorrhoids
“Acute’s are the cure”
Acute illness is Nature’s effort to:
• Eliminate waste and poisons
•Repair injury
What Happens When You Fast?
PHASE 1: Day 1 – 2
• YOU FEEL – Hungry; less energy; irritable
• YOUR BODY – Battery saving mode (BMR becomes more efficient to save energy)
• BENEFITS – fat in blood clears; mental fortitude; insulin decreased; cells begin to cleanse
PHASE 2: Day 3-7
• YOU FEEL – less hungry; possible acute symptoms; increased energy/clarity
• YOUR BODY – Fat Burning Mode (ketosis); digestive system repairing; immune system re-booted
• BENEFITS – deep cleansing; heavy metals expelled; change in body shape; dramatic improvement of mood and energy
How to PREP for fasting fun?
• Choose number of days
• Get a fasting buddy (or group)
• Decide TYPE of fast
• Let whoever needs to know – know
• Get your gear and ‘food’ together
PRE-FAST
TAKE TIME TO PREPARE YOUR
BODY/MIND e.g.
• Cut down on protein (especially animal Protein) and heavy foods.
• Increase raw veg/salads.
• Introducing juices three days before the fast.
POST FAST
Important: TAKE TWICE
AS LONG COMING OUT
OF THE FAST AS THE
NUMBER OF DAYS YOU
FASTED
Keep your diet CLEAN and simple.
The post fast stage requires care in re-establishing a normal and natural diet & supplements.
Walk out in the same way you walked in…re-introduce one CLEAN meal at a time.
