School Zone contains information that is particular to an entire school. Access to each area depends on your permissions. Everyone in the school can access general school notices, discussion areas and calendars. Teachers/administrators can access school management, resources, planning, fundraising etc. Administrators can set up new classes, subjects, interest groups and manage student and teacher profiles.

Interoperability with other school services including all student management systems, library software, internet gateways and filtering systems.

The Cluster Zone allows your school to access shared areas, subjects, classes and interest areas with other KnowledgeNET schools in your cluster. The Global Zone contains the tools that are shared across all KnowledgeNET schools in New Zealand such as website reviews, microquests, polls.

Clusters can share and pool resources on ICT projects, sports events, curriculum innovations….set up shared classes, subjects or groups as well as being able to initiate student or teacher discussions across the cluster.
