The IB Mission Statement The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

•The student must meet all the normal requirements of the QA Academic Probation Policy (Student Handbook pg. 6) during the grade 10 year.

•No student will be promoted to grade 11 if their term marks fall below the expected level of achievement (average of 4 for all classes, marks of 4 and above in Math, English and Science) for terms 1 and 2, or terms 2 and 3, of the grade 10 year.

•The student must meet QA attendance requirements for the grade 10 year, which is a maximum of 18 days absent, for legitimate reasons only, per school year.

•The student must earn at least a 4 on the Personal Project.

•The student must complete all MYP Community and Service requirements, including the reflection journal, by March 30 of the grade 10 year. All Exit Interviews must be completed by April 15th
