1965 Gunnar Sahlin started, Sahlins Bilverkstad, which was a combina!on of car

salvage and usual car repairs (a speciality was to take two crashed cars and

merge them into one).

1965-1967 this company was grown with the development and construc!on of

own salvage cars.

In 1967, the ques!on came from Viskans Kra, AB if the company could help

them develop

equipment to facilitate the work of wiring and pole drilling.

Gunnar Sahlin found a company in Germany that had equipment for drilling and

he took up the agency for Sweden and

started selling this.

1967 Gunnar's first son Tomas Sahlin was born April 22 in Skene's lasare1 family

living with his grandmother and grandfather for the first !me. The company was

adjacent to this house, and already at 2 years of age, Tomas went with Gunnar i

the salvage truck, which he loved.

In 1969, Gunnar Sahlin Maskin AB began to develop products in parallel with the

car shop, which was found in the family un!l 1976 when it was sold to one of our

employees.

In 1979, a half-owned company was founded in the UK called Sahlins Clydesdale

LTD.

1980 Started a wholly owned company in Finland Sahlins Kone OY.

In 1982 Tomas was employed in Sahlins Machine and started repairing and as-

sembling core product 204 during his years in this posi!on and several years

before I es!mate that

about 3,000 of a total of 4500 are assembled by him but he did not stay at this

posi!on then

His dad had another plan he had the opportunity to do the following during his

years in the workshop;

1979-1986 Development of new products. Among other things, an en!re system

for Opto cable installa!on, both plowing and in ready-made channels.

1987 Tomas Sahlin becomes partner in Sahlins Industri AB with 90% of this ac!vi-

ty. This ac!vity was part of a plan to supply Sahlins Maskin AB with proprietary

products.

1988 Tomas Sahlin becomes new CEO at Sahlins Engineering AB In 2003, Tomas

Sahlin ends his employment at Sahlins Engineering and starts his own company

TMS Engineering AB. There he begins to work to work intensively with product

development. Gunnar Sahlin joins 2004 and helped with T Sahlins Maskin AB's

last !me in life. In inheritance, the en!re

Sahlins Maskin AB will draw sketches and drawings, which T Sahlins Machine will

now resume to honor Gunnar Sahlin.
