While some beaches may show lingering effects from Sandy, there are more than enough new shops and eateries to keep us occupied well into Fall!

Nothing says summer... LIKE A WEEKEND, WEEK OR SEASON

AT THE HAMPTONS, NEW YORK’S SEASIDE PLAYGROUND.

In East Hampton, Milly’s first pop-up is at 54 Main Street,

sharing space with Canada’s Joe Fresh. Look for the color

of C. Wonder’s accessories at 48 Main Street. Alice +

Olivia serves up style at 79 Main. Homeport Town offers

home décor and accessories at 171 Main Street. Aesop’s

skincare can be found at 55 Main Street. Sleep naturally

with organic products from Coco-Mat’s first pop-up,

at 37A Main Street. Need last-minute swimwear? Visit

Everything But Water, 66 Newtown Lane. Jack Rogers’

jewel of a shop has opened at 38 Newtown Lane. Blue

& Cream has a new 1,800-square-foot shop at 83 Main

Street in addition to its unit at 60 The Circle. Find your

exercise equipment and camping gear at Khanh Sports,

500 Montauk Highway. Ralph Lauren has converted Rugby

into a signature boutique at 32 Main Street. Theodora &

Callum now features children’s and women’s apparel at

55 Main Street. Salon Bar beautifies the already stunning

at 66 Newtown Lane. Sienna Restaurant & Ultralounge

is a sister eatery of T-Bar Steak 7 Lounge, 44 Three Mile

Harbor Road. At the same location is the return of Pink

Elephant.

In Southampton, Joe Fresh’s second area shop (and first

in town) is at 66 Jobs Lane. C. Wonder’s accessories,

made for summer, returns to 5 Main Street, while

Intermix once again pops up for the season at

64 Main. Aerin Lauder’s lifestyle shop, featuring fashion,

accessories and home décor, is open through December

at 83 Main. Carleen Ligozio’s ultra-luxe accessories have

relocated to 16 Jobs Lane. Isaac Mizrahi’s boutique, his

first in the Hamptons, is at 44A Main Street. Shari’s Place

offers designers including Stella McCartney at

29 Main Street. Gourmet foods can be found at Vines

& Branches (94 Main Street). The Southampton Social

Club and its famous fire pit return to 256 Elm Street.

Southampton Village has approved the conversion of a

minimall at 20 and 22 Hampton Road into a Citarella. Egg

by Susan Lazar, offering apparel for infants to size six, will

pop up at 63 Main Street.

Missoni Home outfits your summer house in style at 50

Jobs Lane. Or try Todd Hase’s new showroom at 848 North

Sea Road. Pottery Barn comes east with all you need at 1

Hampton Road. New York Sunshine Surf Club mixes beach

and urban style at 28 Nugent Street. Surfers take note:

Flying Point has a new larger location at 69 and 79 Main

Street. Alice + Olivia is at 58 Jobs Lane. Also back: Ruby

and Jenna at 60 Jobs Lane. Andrianna Shamaris’ apparel,

accessories and home décor have come to

9 Main Street. Erika’s Place, long a headquarters for gifts,

décor and furniture, has moved to 67A Jobs Lane. Henry

Lehr has fabulous sportswear at a new second location

at 9 Main Street. Vilebrequin expands to women’s wear

inside the Linde Gallery. BLT Steak pops up for the season

at the former Nobu space at the Capri Hotel, 281 County

Road 39A. Delmonico’s of Southampton will be open March

through November at 268 Elm Street. Hampton Coffee

Company has come to 749 County Road 39A. Have a sweet

treat from Chloe’s Soft Serve Fruit Co. at 99 Main Street

(with locations also in Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, East

Hampton and Water Mill). Café OSO at the Southampton

Inn (91 Hill Street) is an eternal stop for breakfast, lunch

and supper.

In Montauk, look for Rebecca Minkoff at 90 Second

House Road. Made in Montauk’s hand-dyed sportswear

has opened at 12 South Etna Avenue. Hawaiian-style

beachwear comes from Nohealani, popping up at Yoga Lila,

12 South Etna Avenue. Find vintage everything at Crow’s

Nest (4 Old West Lake Drive), run by former Ralph Lauren

buyer Bob Melet. In addition, the Hotel and Restaurant

there is expanding. The Beach Boutique and Spa at

Montauk Harbor offers apparel and facials, among other

services. Indulge your love of Southern cuisine at Lucky J’s

Chicken & Waffles, 440 West Lake Drive. La Brisa, from

the owners of Nolita’s Tacombi, brings tacos and tortillas

to 752 Montauk Highway. Also featuring Mexican fare is

Gringos Burrito Grill, 805 Montauk Highway. Lobster rolls

are the order of the day at Sweet ‘Tauk Gourmet, 34 South

Etna Avenue. Ruschmeyer’s (161 Second House Road) has a

new operating team.

In Sag Harbor, Custom Cool has opened a second

showroom for its one-of-a-kind rugs at 26 Main Street,

and joins with Black Swan Antiques for a showroom at

4538 Noyac Road. Dine on locally sourced ingredients at

Madison & Main, newly opened at 126 Main Street. Or find

comfort food at The Cuddy, 29 Main Street.

Elsewhere, Bird, the wonderful and posh boutique in

Brooklyn, heads east with Beach Bird, 183 North Ferry

Road at Shelter Island Heights. Serena & Lily’s home

décor, previously just available on line, now has a brick-

and-mortar location at 332 Montauk Highway in Wainscott.

Look for great denim basics at Blue 1, 2397 Montauk

Highway, Bridgehampton. Those who can’t get enough of

Marie Eiffel’s ineffable style can now sample her taste

in home décor at her second shop, Marie Eiffel Coup

de Coeur, 13 Grand Avenue, Shelter Island. I’m looking

forward to checking out Station’s menus at 412 Montauk

Highway in East Quogue. Fresh replaces Southfork Kitchen

(203 Bridgehampton Sag Turnpike in Bridgehampton), with

chef Todd Jacobs serving New American cuisine. Encore

Sports has sporting goods, shoes, toys and beach items

at 171 Main Street in Amagansett.
