Meet FQC Media and Big Features
Together, we write, shoot, craft and communicate.
Big Features and FQC Media work in partnership to create extraordinary, award-winning films and special presentations.
FQC Media is a UAE company, based in Dubai’s Media City, that provides consultancy
and planning services for major media projects. Its chairman and CEO is Dr Peter Vine
who also acts as executive producer of all films made within the partnership.
Big Features is a UK company whose managing director, Robert Butcher, is the creative
director for the FQC Media and Big Features partnership. Robert has a reputation as
one of the top corporate film makers in the UK. He has specialized in corporate branding,
advertising and media based installations.

World Expo Unrivalled Experience
We are probably Europe’s most experienced creative agency when it comes to harnessing the communications power of World Expos.
We have been repeatedly engaged by the government of the UAE to help create its award-winning pavilions in Zaragoza (2008), Shanghai (2010), Yeosu (2012) and Milan (2015).

Dubai 2020 Victory
Our experience was put to good use in helping Dubai achieve its stated goal of transitioning from Expo exhibitors to Expo hosts.
Over a two-year communications campaign, we wrote and produced a string of memorable films to present Dubai’s value proposition to 167 member states.
We also assisted with on-the-ground presentation services for many of the General Assembly meetings including the final vote in Paris in November 2013.

We also have over 50 years combined experience of working with some of the world’s most successful and demanding corporate clients.
We collaborate very closely with them to develop effective messaging that is fresh, motivating and credible.

DR PETER VINEExecutive Producer
Peter has been involved in film
production for 40 years and is
also an award-winning author
and publishing consultant. He is
a specialist in communicating the
UAE in all its guises and has been
intimately involved in UAE pavilions
at World Expos for 20 years
ROBERT BUTCHERFilm & Creative Director
Robert is a highly acclaimed Film
Director and Creative Director,
who has worked on many award-
winning productions and film
installations around the world.
Industry awards include: Cannes,
IVCA, and the New York and World
Media Festivals.
GREG HOBDENSenior Producer
Greg has over 20 years experience
in the film business, producing
commercials, corporate films
and music videos in countries all
over the world. He has also just
released his first feature length
documentary about the boxing
legend Muhammad Ali.
GABRIELA NIETOProducer
Gabriela has overseen major
productions in the UAE, Saudi
Arabia, China, Hong Kong, Mexico,
France, Spain, Italy, Kenya, India,
USA and the UK. She is fluent in
Spanish, Catalan and English and
has a working knowledge of Dutch,
French, Italian and Portuguese.
PETER DUNKLEYScriptwriter
Peter is a highly experienced
creative writer specialising in
marketing communications across
digital, broadcast and print media.
He has worked with numerous
leading advertising agencies,
production companies and brand
consultancies.
ZLATA FILIPOVICProducer
Zlata is an award-winning producer
of TV and theatrical documentaries
as well as exhibition and installation
films. Zlata holds a degree in a
mixed natural/social science from
Oxford University and a Masters in
International Politics and Relations
from Trinity College Dublin.
