InterestWhat sparked my interest in this book is that I know a good bit about them. And I listen to them like everyday. They are all real funny.

Facts I Knew

• Four are British and one is Irish.• They all started the x-factor as solo artists and got put in a group.• The boys made history when they became the first UK artist to debut at #1 on the US charts with their hit single "What Makes You Beautiful"

Full Name- Harry Edward StylesD.O.B- 2/1/94--Harry is the youngest one of the group. He was raised in Holmes Chapel, and has an older sister called Gemma. Harry was also in a band called White Eskimo in school. He entered a Battle of the Bands and they won! That’s when Harry knew he wanted to be a singer.

Full name- Niall James Horan

D.O.B- 9/13/93

--Niall was born in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland to Bobby Horan and Maura Gallagher. His only sibling is an older brother named Greg. Bobby and Maura divorced in 1998 when Niall was five years old. Niall's stepfather is from England, and he has family there.

Full Name- Zain Javadd Malik

D.O.B- 1/12/93

--Zayn was born in West Lane, Baildon, Bradford, England. He is of English and Pakistani descent. He was born to British-Pakistani father, Yaser Malik and English mother Patricia. He has one older sister, Doniya, and two younger sisters, Waliyha and Safaa. He and his family are Muslim. He is in a relationship with Perrie Edwards.

Full Name- Liam James Payne

D.O.B- 8/29/93

--Liam was born in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England to Geoff and Karen Payne. He has two older sisters, Nicola and Ruth. Liam was born three weeks early, and as a result he had a lot of health problems. He spent the first four years of his life in and out of the hospital having regular tests done. Doctors noticed one of his kidneys was scarred and dysfunctional. To help cope with the pain, he had 32 injections in his arm in the morning and evening as a child. In 2012 Liam found out and shared via Twitter that his kidney was functioning again.

Full Name- Louis William Tomlinson

D.O.B- 12/24/91

--Louis was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England to Troy and Johanna. His parents split up when Louis was young. When his mother remarried, Louis took on his stepdad Mark Tomlinson's name. He has five younger sisters; Charlotte, Félicité, and twins Daisy and Phoebe. Mark and Jay divorced in 2011.

Most Interesting Information

They came in third on the x-factor 2010-2011 show. They have a number one hit song and have worked hard to get here. They were signed by Simon Cowell’s music company.

They aren’t really important to society. They are more for fun entertainment.
