She will speak to us of the health benefits of three powerful medicinal mushrooms that make for delicious gourmet eating, and that are available in local stores. Then Dominika will speak to us about mushroom farming and what to expect if we want to grow mushrooms at home. This is not a cooking class, but we will have a chance to repair to the kitchen and sample these delicious mushrooms for ourselves. And you will leave with recipes and other informative handouts, and the confidence to bring these nutritional powerhouses into your diet. Cost: $35 Dominika grew up in Poland, learning to forage for wild mushrooms; and is now a professional shiitake farmer.
