TFM CHARTER FLIGHT Effective January 19, 2015 the new TFM Charter flight will begin service between Johannesburg and TFM. The following details apply to all travelers.

General Information:

• The charter will operate on Monday/Wednesday/Friday round trip between Johannesburg(JNB)/Lubumbashi(FBM)/TFM.

• Departure from JNB (OR Tambo) to FBM/TFM is scheduled for 07h15 with arrival back to JNB (OR Tambo) at 17h30.

• There are 32 seats on the plane. • The TFM Executive team has requested that all travel to the DRC coincide with the Charter

schedule. Any exceptions will require approval. • The Travel Center will work with the Johannesburg (JHB) travel group to secure space on the flight

as part of the normal booking process • The Travel Center will need a valid email and cell phone number to provide to the JHB travel group

for contact during travel. • Official confirmation will be sent directly to the passenger 48hrs prior to the flight by the JHB travel

group. • Passengers traveling to DRC transiting via JNB are required to stay at an airport hotel (Southern

Sun). Travelers must have a business reason to secure lodging in the Sandton area. Any exceptions will require approval.

• The flight manifest will be monitored daily. We do not anticipate any availability issues at this time. Should, however, there be an availability issue, we will notify the passenger immediately and coordinate alternate arrangements.

Charter Check-In Guide departing Johannesburg (JNB) to TFM site

• Check in counter will be open 2 hours prior to departure time and will close 1 hour prior to departure. Departure time will be communicated to you on your itinerary.

• Upon arrival at OR Tambo, you will go to Terminal A. • You will find the check in counter for the TFM flight towards the end of the row of check in

counters that include Delta, British Airways and Air France. • The counter will be identified with the TFM name. • You will proceed to check-in similarly as you would with any commercial airline. • You will check your luggage. Reminder that the checked luggage weight limit is strictly enforced

at 30kg • You will be issued a Boarding Pass • You will proceed behind the counter and through the standard security checking process and

then into the Immigration area. • Once you have cleared Immigration, you will report to the departure gate. • The departure gate and time will be given to you at the time of check in.

• At the time, transportation will be provided for passengers to our plane for boarding and take off.

Please note that, unless inhibited by South African visa requirements and required to remain in-transit, you will be required to collect your luggage upon arrival in Johannesburg (both directions) for rechecking. In-Transit Passenger (without RSA visa)

• Upon arrival in OR Tambo, you will follow the signs indicating In-Transit passengers. You will be met by a Representative of our service company who will explain to you the procedure and help facilitate your luggage transfer either on to your outgoing commercial flight or from your incoming commercial flight to the TFM charter.

• Please note that those with visa restrictions will be provided an official TFM flight itinerary and E-Receipt to present in your country of origin to show that RSA will not be your final destination.

Arrival Lubumbashi, DRC

• Upon arrival in Lubumbashi, a TFM Protocol Agent will collect your passport and escort you to the Immigration area.

• TFM Protocol will facilitate luggage checking with Customs agents. • Once you have gone through the Immigration process, the TFM Protocol Agent will guide you

back to the plane for re-boarding. • Once Customs and Immigration requirements have been completed for all passengers, the

plane will depart for the TFM site. The flight is approximately 25 minutes. Arrival TFM site, Fungurume, DRC

• Upon arrival at the TFM airstrip, TFM Protocol and Immigration Specialist will be available to instruct you and answer questions.

• TFM does provide a shuttle airstrip to the Camps for registration. We recommend you carry a copy of your E-Receipt with you as it contains all phone and email contact information.
