Carla Caskey Sisk, ColorMix Graphics & Printing, LLC

Carla Sisk is President and CEO of ColorMix Graphics & Printing, LLC. in San Marcos, Texas. Carla opened the doors of ColorMix Graphics & Printing 17 years ago operating under the motto of “Always the right mix!” and that “no job is too big or too small”, and that “we are to be partners and consultants with our clients”. Her success over the last 17 years is attributed to her company values of serving the community and local businesses with the best of service, quality and value. ColorMix was awarded the Governor’s Small Business Award in Texas for 2015 and has won the “Best of Hays” award as Best Printer for the last several years.

Recognizing the need for a comprehensive commercial printing management service, Carla launched ColorMix Graphics & Printing in 2002 to provide a single source supplier of quality printed products for San Antonio’s diversified business community. Operating under the true partnership-in-business philosophy, Carla lends her expertise in cutting edge printing technology to provide project management and quality control for a wide range of printing services including large format graphics, digital printing, offset printing, screen printing and promotional products. She opened the new corporate headquarters in her hometown of San Marcos in 2008, while maintaining a print production facility in San Antonio.

Prior to opening ColorMix Graphics & Printing, Carla gained her knowledge and experience in the commercial printing business as a sales representative and project manager with companies in Austin and San Antonio and has been in the printing industry since 1993. Before the print industry, she worked in management and merchandising with-in the retail industry, completing internships with Wal-Mart and Randall’s and then went on to graduate from the HEB Store Management Training program as a General Merchandise Manager for HEB in Austin.

Carla Sisk is a proud San Marcos native, daughter of Cliff & Sylvia Caskey, and graduate of San Marcos High School, class of 1987. Carla is also a very proud Texas Aggie, having earned her BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University in 1992 where she was named “Student of the Year” by the Center for Retailing Studies. Carla is blessed to be the wife of Steve Sisk for 24-1/2 years, and the mother of Scott who is 19 years old and attends Texas State Technical College. Carla also enjoys working with the college and high school age groups at her church, University Church of Christ, and volunteers her time as a 4-H adult leader with the West SM 4-H Club. Carla is heavily involved with the Hays County Republican Party where she is a member of the Hays County GOP Executive Committee as precinct chair for PCT 110, a member of the Grass Roots Committee, and Co-Chair of the Lincoln Reagan Dinner for the last several years. She was elected President of the Hays County Republican Women’s Group in 2016 and the State Republican Executive Committeewoman (SREC) for SD 21 in June of 2018.

As a local business owner, Carla is actively involved in the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador, Corridor Platinum Connections BNI where she served as VP and President, and an Alumni of Leadership San Marcos-Class of 2016. She is also a graduate from the Leadership Lab Class of 2005 from the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, and a graduate of the Entreleadership (Dave Ramsey) program in 2009 and continues to be a part of the ongoing Entreleadership Master Series program. She also continues her industry knowledge thru the Advertising Specialty Institute, ASI, shows and annual trainings. Most recently she & Steve both graduated from the San Marcos Citizen’s Police Academy in May of 2017. In 2019, Carla became President of the SMCPAAA.
