1. Bugs in interface

1.1. Spelling mistake – it should be „missing” instead of „mssing”

1.2. The beginning of the time span should be separated from the end of time span (for

example time span: 12-1990 to 12-2009.

1.3. This ID number is vague. Could it be presented in mode friendly form?

1.4. Function Edit Copy doesn’t work (TS properties section). I wasn’t able to paste

object into Word or Excel.

1.5. In the following case the name of the time series is not imported properly.

1.6. Some time series are not imported into Demetra+ properly. In the printscreen

below, the time series Unemployment – total hasn’t been imported, although there

are 179 observations in time series.

1.7. It is not possible to open new Excel file when one has already been opened. The

system doesn’t show any message why it is not possible. The problem occurred also

for other time series form file.

1.8. The name of the Ljung –Box test should be corrected

1.9. The expression “Normality tests” should be corrected and printed a little bit lower

than now (some interval is needed).

1.10. The space is needed after colon signs:

1.11. What is the function of the button with the name of the time series? I pressed it and

nothing has happened. I expected that when I drag the new time series into this

button and drop it the results will be refreshed, but nothing has happened. Maybe it

is not a button but only information about series which is analyzing at the moment.

If so, it shouldn’t look like button.

1.12. For the graphs below it is not possible to show titles:

1.13. For this times series sliding spans- trading days are not printed. I assume that it is

because the trading day effect weren’t estimated, right? I think in this case, instead

of empty graphs, the appropriate information should be displayed. For me it looks

strange, that on the axis those data were visible and the chart’s title was printed.

1.14. These brackets are unnecessary.

1.15. It seems to me that combobox in Logs section doesn’t work. I changed setting there

but the results in Logs window are still the same.

1.16. Demetra+ allows to keep the worksheets with the same name. It could be

misleading and makes it difficult to organise one’s work with Demetra. Why not to

give the default worksheet’s name more informative (e. g. TramoSeats – spec1,

TramoSeats – spec2?)

2. Data Import

2.1. Data (GDP in constant prices) were loaded. The browser panel was cleared and

then the data set 2 was laded. I think that the TS Properties window should be

updated in this situation. Now it presents information about GDP in constant prices.

2.2. I don’t understand why time series data displayed in Demetra+ contains the empty

cells for 2009? The last observation for time series: Cars was 2008.

3. Processing

3.1. Single analysis - Wizard

3.2. I have chosen form menu the Wizard:

Then I pressed the Add datasource button in the Add new datasource window:

The following warning was displayed:

I have chosen Excel file end pressed Open (Otwórz). The file could’t be opened. The

error was displayed in Logs section. This file was successfully opened in Browsers

section?

3.3. Multiple wizard

3.3.1. Spelling mistake – it should be “Remove” instead of “Remov”

3.3.2. SAProcessing Results – Section “Diagnostics” should be displayed a little bit lower

3.3.3. I have chosen the option from results tree. No results were displayed. I think that in this situation the system should show the information with explanation why the results are not available.

3.4. Tramo/Seats Results

3.4.1. The description of the components visible on the chart should be available,

at least after clicking on it. The same remarks is valid for all charts in WK

analysis.

3.4.2. Why for some seasonality tests the conclusions are printed (e. g. test for

the presence of seasonality assuming stability) and for others not (e. g.

Friedman test)?

3.4.3. What is displayed in right down corner? Why I am allowed to write there

something?

3.4.4. I saved results and then tried to load file. The following message was

displayed.
