Tenant On-Boarding Guidebook

Welcome On-Board!Thank you for choosing Guiker! Please follow the instructions to completethe tenant on-boarding process.

Step 1: Check Email
Open the invitation email sent from Guiker and click on the button “Let’s do this!”
***Desktop or laptop preferred.

Step 2: Set Password
Set your password. With your email and password, you can log-in www.guiker.com and modify your profile at any time.

Step 3: My Message
Log into your Guiker account.
Click “My Message”

Step 4: Input Your Rent Contribution
Put your rent amount into “MyRent Contribution” and Click“Update”
**The total contribution must equal to thetotal rent. Only after all tenants input rent contributions, you can proceed to the nextstep.

Step 5: Setup Payment
After all tenants input rent contribution and rent different = 0, you can click the button “Setup Payment”

Step 7: Read “House Rules and Terms”
Read and accept “House Rules and Terms”Click on “Next”

Step 8: Add Payment Information
Add your credit card or bank account information.Your landlord will charge you monthly rent throughthe payment method you add here
**There is a 3% transaction fee for using credit card. Werecommend using Direct Debit to avoid transaction fees.

Step 9: Add Bank Account Info.
If you choose to use direct debit to pay your rent, please provide your Canadian bank account information here.
**You can find bank account information through void cheque, online bank or asking staff from your bank.

Step 10: Select Payment Method
Select your preferred payment method and check the total rent you have to pay.
Click “I understand and accept” Click “Next”

Step 11: Submit Your Application
Check whether the rent, address and all other information are correct. Click the button “Submit”
