Club-Based Version Script Telephone Practice Profile Invitation

“Hi (Name), this is (Your name) how are you? (Name) I’m calling to ask you for a favor – this will take about 2 minutes to explain okay?” “I started a business that provides education & products about protecting your health. It’s located inside (Nutrition Club Name) and I need to practice doing Metabolism Profiles as part of my training. That’s the favor I’m asking – for you to help me out with my training.” “Here’s how it works (pause): you stop in to the club and I’ll get you a free smoothie for helping me out. Then you get a metabolism scan from a device that tells you what your metabolism is and what that means. It takes about 20 minutes and I won’t pressure you to buy anything. But it would really help me out with my training.” “So (Name), would you be willing to take the metabolism profile for me?” (Silence! Wait for answer!)

When the Answer is ‘Yes” “Great (Name), I really appreciate your help! Have you ever been to (Club Name) before?”

• If they have been to the club: Gently and respectfully try to determine if you are eligible to be their coach. If you are not eligible, encourage them to work with their coach do not schedule a profile appointment. “Awesome! When is the last time you were there? Who is your coach? He is an awesome coach! You are in good hands! He can give you what I was offering so keep working with him.”

• If they say they have not been to the club: “You are going to love it!”

Schedule the Profile Appointment “Let’s book a time. What time of day works best for you, morning or afternoon? Great, these are the 3 times I have available …” (Schedule a time). OK (Name) I have reserved this time for you! Here’s the address (give good directions). If anything comes up on your end, please give me 24 hour notice so I can get someone else in your slot ok? (Wait) Great, I can’t wait to see you there on (Date, Day & Time)! Thanks for your help.” (Before the appointment occurs, check the club visitor log to verify that you are truly eligible to be this person’s coach. Your sponsor can help you with this step.)

If the answer is “I don’t live in the area” “No problem! That’s actually even more helpful because I need to learn how to do long distance profiles too! We would just meet over the phone or Zoom. Would you be willing to do that for me?”

If the answer is “No” “OK (Name), Thank you for taking some time here. If you change your mind in the future just let me know. I’d like to send you a coupon for a free smoothie and energy drink at (Nutrition Club Name) OK?”

Facebook Practice Profile Script To invite people you already know to a Practice Profile

Overview

1. Use the Startup Tracking Log to plan and track your Practice Profile inviting activity and results. 2. Use the exact wording for each message to send to your Facebook friends as indicated (See below)

Customize the text with the recipient’s name, and club name as needed (if working from a club). 3. Choose people first who are within reasonable driving distance and who you know are currently paying for

their own food. 4. Try to send to people who are online at the time. 5. Send each message one at a time based upon responses you receive back. 6. If using a club, try to schedule as many as you can to occur during the busiest weekday time in the club.

DO's

Consider doing telephone Practice Profile invitations since twice as many people say “yes”. Follow the message script text exactly. Be polite Make sure they have the address Get their phone # for possible reminder call. If they say “yes” but they are too busy right now, IMMEDIATELY schedule a future appointment. Send a reminder the day before. If they can’t make it, IMMEDIATELY reschedule a new time in the future when they can make it. Invite friends, family, coworkers, casual acquaintances. Keep it simple – wait for the profile to give information and details.

DON'T'S

Don’t use your Facebook page as a commercial for your business (No posts telling you have products for sale; No posts that you placed qualifying orders; No sales type communications).

Don’t combine the messages into one. Do not SPAM. Do not mass message = temporary Facebook ban from messaging. Do not mass friend request = temporary Facebook ban from adding friends.

THE MESSAGES

Typical Response: What’s up?

Message #2: “Thank you for being willing to help me out!”

Message #3: “I’m in training right now as a health coach (at NUTRITION CLUB NAME) and I'm learning to do Metabolism Profiles as part of my training. That’s the favor I’m asking. It takes about 20 minutes and I’ll treat you to a healthy meal for helping me out.”

Typical Response: Sure! I could do that.

Message #1: “Hey (INSERT NAME), can I ask you a favor?”

Message #4: “Would you be willing to let me practice on you?”

If they ask for more info or what the profile is: “I’m still in training, so my coach can help you more when we do it, but basically we have a meter than can tell you what your metabolism is and what that means. It takes about 20 minutes, and I won’t pressure you to buy stuff or anything like that, but I'd really appreciate it if you'd be willing to be there as part of my training. Depending the day, I can do (INSERT ALL POSSIBLE: MORNINGS/AFTERNOONS/EVENINGS) – is there a certain day/time that works best for you?”

If they stop responding: “Or would you like more info?”

If you are building business inside a club:

Message #5: “Thank you so much! That’s very nice of you, I really appreciate it! Have you ever been to (INSERT NUTRITION CLUB NAME) before?”

Message #6: If they have not been to the club: “You are going to love it! What time of day would work best for you, morning, afternoon, or evening?” (Before the appointment occurs, check the club visitor log to verify that you are truly eligible to be this person’s coach. Your sponsor can help you with this step.)

Message #7 (if no response): “Would you mind if we planned on either (INSERT DAY) at (INSERT TIME) or (INSERT DAY) at (INSERT TIME)?”

Coordinate a time that works for both of you and your sponsor/mentor. Remember to set up the appointment on www.calendar.google.com and to invite your sponsor/mentor. Also coordinate location.

Message #6: If they have been to the club: Gently and respectfully try to determine if you are eligible to be their coach. If you are not eligible encourage them to work with their coach.

Message #7: “Awesome! When is the last time you were there? Who is your coach?”

Message #8: “He is an awesome coach! You are in good hands! It is best for me to do these with someone who doesn’t have a coach yet, so keep working with him.”

Closing Message: “Thanks again! My coach (NAME) will be there helping me out. You’ll love him/her! He/she’s awesome. See you (DAY)!”

If you are building business outside of a club:
