Fun Facts• Seattle is a coastal seaport situated in the state of

Washington. It is the largest city north of San Francisco. Seattle city has over six hundred thousand residents while the entire metropolitan area has over four million inhabitants. Seattle is located 113 miles from the U.S-Canada border. The city of Seattle has over 200 miles of both fresh and salt-water shoreline. The water temperature at sea is about 50 Fahrenheit making it an ideal tourist destination. Seattle city receives over eight million tourists per year due to its tourist’s attraction sites and various landmarks (Bell & Discovery Channel, 2007)

Places to Eat• The Pink Door• This Restaurant is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market. It’s seafood and produce

driven menu had been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle’s Pike Place Market.

• Ray’s Boathouse• Ray’s Boathouse is located on the Puget Sound in Ballard on Shilshoe Bay. This restarurant offers

Seafood, Northwest and American Food.

Places to Stay• The Fairmont Hotel• There are many historic and modern hotels within walking distance from the Pike Place Market. The

Fairmont Hotel is listed on the Historic Register with wonderful city views and French inspired furnishings.

Lessons Learned

• Maintaining good communication by using deadline dates. From the onset of the project set deadlines for everything; when to communicate and when part of the project was due.

• A wiki would be beneficial when there are 5 or more people involved in the project. Fewer than that, it may be easier to just use email as a means of communication.
