Description of Activity: Teacher reads the book, Angelina Ballerina, to the student remotely, using a document camera so the student can follow along and see the illustrations as the teacher reads. Teacher-Scribed Work Sample (Entry Point)(cont’d) Name: Jennifer Diaz Date: 11/13/2020 Strand: Operations and Algebraic Thinking Measurable Outcome: Jennifer will match numerals with up to 5 objects with 75% accuracy and 100% independence. Description of Activity: Teacher has large numerals from 1 to 5 and student has a pile of spoons (6) for this activity. Nothing else is on their desks. A document camera (created by using teacher’s cell phone) is used by the teacher so the student can see the teacher’s desk. The student shows her answer by moving the spoons into view with or without help from home as needed. Teacher asks student to count out loud while counting out her spoons. (help showing the student’s answer is not counted as a prompt). Teacher shows student the numeral between 1-5 and asks Jennifer to show the teacher the same number of spoons.
