This session will focus on the benefits of collecting academy and student-level work-based learning data as a means of ensuring equity and access. Academy leaders and site administrators will receive information on a straightforward data collection process and examples of how the information is analyzed, reported and used to track and monitor work-based learning experiences.

Pathway students are prepared to participate in internships during their junior year or the summer before their senior year
Students must have a 2.0 GPA, complete an internship application, and attend pre-internship workshops in order to be eligible for paid and unpaid internships
Other worthwhile programs such as Upward Bound and other summer school programs and activities make it difficult for all eligible students to participate

Over 1600 high school students enrolled in college and career pathways participated in work-based learning activities in 2012-2013.
There was a 40% increase in the number of career exploration visits and career development activities from the previous year.
