This service is what Tamarind mainly is know for. We are the local specialist on BME mental health issues.

We pride ourselves on providing a holistic mental health and wellbeing support service.

Everyone is affected by some type of mental health issue at some time in their life.

At Tamarind we see Depression as the common cold of mental health.

By supporting the ‘whole’ person from a culturally sensitive perspective; we are able to assist in an individuals road to recovery by walking alongside them.

We provide:

Tamarinds Counselling Service, specialises in helping BME communities (particularly African, Asian and Caribbean) with personal and family problems and helping them through difficult times.
