FAMILY NEWS Current Adult Class Schedule Teachers Location Subject Johnny Adams & Fellowship Hall The View From the Top: Mike Holder How God Sees Things Robin Yeldell Upstairs (301) Video Discussion Christmas Eve Service Our second annual Christmas Eve Service with Country Bible Church will be at 5:00pm on December 24th. Last year we hosted this service at KCOC and this year it will be held at CBC! Their building is located behind Kaufman Presbyterian Hospital at 401 N. Shannon Street. We hope to see many of you there! Christmas Worship & Office Schedule Wednesday, December 21st – No Classes Saturday, December 24th – Christmas Eve Service at CBC 5-6pm Sunday, December 25th – No Classes – Regular Worship at 10:30am Wednesday, December 30th – No Classes Sunday, January 1st - No Classes – Regular Worship at 10:30am The church office will also be closed on Friday, December 23rd and Monday, December 26th. Ladies Bible Class Will resume meeting on January 10, 2017. The discussions will go along with the study called “Redeemed” by Angela Thomas Pharr. It’s a Biblical understanding of what it means to be redeemed. Please mark your calendar and be there to enjoy great fellowship together.
Memorial Christmas Poinsettias Each year during the Advent/Christmas season our stage is decorated with Poinsettias that surround our Christmas Trees. If you purchased a Poinsettia feel free to take that with you after worship today. If you are interested in purchasing one, we still have 4 that have not been claimed. They are $8.50 each. You can write a check and give that to Merle if you are interested. New Arrivals! Congratulations to Tim & Heather Gesino on the arrival of their new baby boy, Cole Thomas Gesino, born December 1, weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces. Congratulations to Ryan and Jennifer Roberts on the arrival of their new baby boy, Ryder Cason Roberts, born on November 30, weighing 5lbs 4 oz. We’re excited to welcome these new boys into the world! Please remember in prayer: Walter Yandell has been transferred to a physical therapy center to get his strength back. Doranda Conner is at home recuperating nicely. Ryelee Burris has been in the hospital with possible heart problems. Also remember Patti Koleszar, Barbara Hearn, Dorothy Dees. Kaufman Christian Help Center’s December Food Wish List Corn, Green Beans, Instant Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing (boxed), Chicken Broth, Cake Mix, Mixed Fruit. STUDENT MINISTRY NEWS - 7th-12th Grade Sunday Mornings – We will have class at 9:30am, continuing our study through the Old Testament Heroes, this week is Elijah.
Christmas Party – TODAY from 5-8pm in the Teen Room. Wear an ugly Christmas Sweater bring $10 and a Friend.
