& the Church Robin Yeldell Room 301- Upstairs “Crazy Love” Video Series Wednesday Night Worship & Prayer Join us this Wednesday for a night of worship and prayer. During the first couple of weeks of school we want to provide some space to breath, rest and worship. A new Wednesday night adult class will begin the first Wednesday in September. Please remember in prayer: Patti Koleszar had gallbladder surgery recently, Julie Turner had hip surgery and is having rehab at home. Charlotte Corcoran had back surgery again last week. She is back at home. Laska Medina, Ryelee Burris, James & Linda Mott, Henry Clayton, Arnell Thomas, Barbara & Ben Hearn & Jose Lara. Backpacks, Blankets & Bears 34 is the number of backpacks given by the KCOC Family to help displaced children of Kaufman schools. 8 went to Helen Edwards, 8 to Monday Primary, 9 to Phillips and 9 to Nash. Each school Counselor was so grateful for your help in this area. Thank you so much for your support! Lisa Anderson & the Poverty Committee. Mentoring Opportunity with Kaufman ISD
Looking for an opportunity to make a difference in our community? This
fall we are joining other area churches in mentoring kids at Monday
Primary school in Kaufman. There is an informational kickoff meeting
THIS Thursday, August 24th at 10:00am at Monday Primary School.

This Saturday, August 26th all men are invited to gather for a night of
fellowship and food.
We’ll meet at 6:00pm at 151 Ebo Street in Kaufman. (Shannon Park)
Hamburgers and Hot dogs will be served for dinner and remember to
bring your sons and invite your friends! We Are Proud of
Aaron Holcomb, who was baptized by Larry Searcy last week to show
his dedication to Christ!
Dear KCOC, We would like to express our thanks for all you did to make
our Nanaw’s (Juanita’s) service special. The luncheon was very good

Adult Bible Class Survey Meeting
Next Sunday after worship there will be a lunch meeting to discuss our
adult bible classes. We’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall and also share
lunch together. Anyone that is interested in helping with our Adult Bible
Classes is welcome to attend.
We will 1) review the results of the Bible survey, 2) brainstorm ideas on
how best to use ideas from the survey, 3) discuss a “3 concept” that has
emerged from recent discussions with the elders and 4) recruit folks to
develop the things in the meeting. Please join us, Robin Yeldell
