Risk Assessment:A risk assessment matrix was created forthe customer to help mitigate key risks ofthe project. For example, when workingwith sharp objects, the mitigating action isinforming the customer to work with thedesignated PPE.
Initial Proposals: These proposals were generatedbased off the initial brief wereceived from the customer.
Short Term Plan:After discussing with the customer, a threestep approach was agreed in which wewould provide short, medium and longterm solutions.
The short term plan can be used by thecustomer to: Identify and segregate wastefrom items to be retained, segregation ofwaste for sustainable recycling, and safecodes of practice.
Due to a change in budget, these ideas were not suitable. The ideas generated werehowever used for furtherdevelopment of the project.
3D Model:During the design cycle, a 3D model was made sothat the engineering team could visualise the outdoorspace as is. This was detailed to the customer andused during concept generation phases as livechanges could be made in this environment to reflecta solution.
NBCP Floor Plans & Garden Layout:After meeting with the customer,we were informed that NBCP wereto meet with the council planningdepartment. The SOS team hadscale plans generated and providedto the customer the next day.Propositions were generated forbuilding positioning for long termproposals.
Structural Designs:As the project evolved over time,It was clear that NBCP wanted astructure that could be hand-built and erected by volunteers.Frame proposals were generatedwith supporting information inthe long term report.
Mid Term Report & Long Term Proposal:These reports inform the customer towards layingfoundations for structure, costing and structuraldesign ideas for long term development of the site.

REQUIREMENTS PLANNING
Face to face meetings were the most effective and efficient way whencommunicating with NBCP.
Emails were used to define actions and minutes from each meeting held withNBCP. They were also used to set up meetings and inform of the project’sprogression.
Phone was used to clarify small details, such as timings for meetings ordates.
