The History Of The Fuji Apple

nated from

Japan ,

They were

introduced

into the U.S

market in

 the 1980’s 

This apple

is a crossbetween

 two apple

varieties which are Red Delicious & Old

Virginia Rall Genet.

Fuji apples are account for 80% of 

China’s 20 million apples grown annu-

ally.

The Fuji apple is more red when its

grown in a cold climate and the color

get’s lighter when its grown in a warmerclimate.

Description On The Fuji Apple

-Typically Large and

round , like the size

of a baseball.

-Has a dense flesh

 that is sweeter and

crispier than many

other apples.

-Even though they

have no refrigera- tion they can stay

5—6 moths out-

side.

-Good Texture

αGained lots of popularity with U.S con-

sumers.

-have 9—11% of sugars by weight.

My Impression

Once I took a bite of this apple it tastedpretty good. At first I thought I was not

going to like it because it was too sour but

at the end I got this sweet taste which

made my mouth water. It also has a nice

crispy taste , it is not too soggy or too

crisp. I found my favorite apple!
