Disney’s Little Mermaid, Jr.

But first she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking. Guys and Dolls, Jr. Performs: Sept. 11-20, 2015 (8 performances) Location: Frisco Discovery Center Ages: 10-18 Directed by: Melinda Bellatti Starts: Tuesday, June 30 Rehearses: Tuesdays 6-9 pm Cost: $320 (includes FYT summer camp tshirt) 30% DISCOUNT FOR FIRST CLASS Auditions: June 20 9am-12 & June 22 6-9 pm Callbacks: June 23 6-9 pm In this adaptation of the show considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy. Gambler Nathan Detroit tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while, his girlfriend, nightclub performer Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for 14 years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler Sky Masterson for the dough, but Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown. In the end, everyone ends up where they belong. Summer Drama Camps
Grouped by age, students actively participate in visual and performing arts. Every student will perform on Friday to demonstrate what they’ve learned. Each week’s theme will involve a varie-ty of visual art projects including painting, pottery, mixed media, cartooning, sculpture, drawing, collage and/ or printing. Performing arts activities include story dramatization, improvisation, theatre games, poetry, movement, singing, puppetry & pantomime. (Bring a snack and drink)

According to each week’s theme, students will work on acting skills and technical theatre in the morning and rehearse in the afternoon for a whole day of theatre fun. Wizard of Oz (Young Performers Edition)
Acting Skills Classes
Designed to develop acting skills in specific areas, these training classes will benefit actors of all experience levels.
The Monologue class will focus on selecting, blocking, and developing a character in a piece you can use for future auditions.
The Voice & Diction class will focus on fundamentals of voice production including breath control, posture, tone, volume,
