This showed me that in my magazine, I should definitely include interviews and tour updates. The next popular choice was close between music charts and gossip columns. However, this proved that not many people are interested in quizzes, therefore I will not be including quizzes in my music magazine

These results showed that many people would be interested in seeing female artists in a music magazine, therefore I will be using a ‘female artist’ for my front cover.

‘Pop Mix’ and ‘Icon’ came out as the most popular names for my magazine, with ‘Exposed’ being the next popular. Therefore, this has cut down my choices to three to choose from.

RESULTS This research has helped me with my magazine a lot, it has

made me realise what to include that will please people the most – interviews, tour updates and either music charts or gossip columns.

As most of the people that answered my questionnaire were girls, this means that most of this will only please girls, therefore females will be my main target audience aged from 13-20

The 3 most popular colours came out as black, red and purple. However in my opinion these three colours wouldn’t fit well together and would come across as a more rock genre rather than pop, therefore I may choose my own colour scheme to fit in with my pop genre.

Most people also chose £1-£2 for how much they would pay for a music magazine. Therefore, I will make sure my magazine is within this price range to appeal to a wider audience.
