Grace and peace to you Grace Church
After months of praying planning and preparing the day has finally arrived As of today July 1st we
are Grace Church a multishycampus church in two locations I know that you are as excited as I am to
welcome our new family members from our Grace East Campus
As we move forward through the summer months I want to let you know what will be happening here at
Grace
In order to make the necessary refreshments to the Grace East church building (formerly Fremont Ave
UMC) we are going to take a ldquosummer vacationrdquo from worshiping at that location and instead our Grace
East congregation (formerly Fremont Ave UMC) will be joining us on Sundayrsquos here at Grace West at
either our 930a or 1115a service
Simply we will spend the months of July and August worshiping together as one worshiping
congregation
This will give us an opportunity to get to know each other to learn names and faces gifts and graces that
each of us have for ministry Also this will give us an opportunity to perfect operations and procedures
for both campuses of Grace Church

So when will worship begin again at Grace East On Sunday September 11th the doors will open once
again for worship on Sunday mornings Utilizing what strategists call a ldquosoft launchrdquo approach worship
will resume with services at 930a for those who already call one of the two Grace Church campuses
ldquohomerdquo
On Sunday October 2nd we will have a Grand Opening Celebration for the Grace East Campus site
The public will be invited to ldquocome and seerdquo what God is doing through this new part of the Grace
Church family community Wersquoll offer more details as we get them This is going to be an AWESOME
day for Grace Church You wonrsquot want to miss it
Note that while we wonrsquot be worshiping at Grace East during July and August the building WILL be
open during the week for ldquobusiness as usualrdquo Anything that is on the calendar currently at the Grace
East campus through the summer will continue to go on as schedule
Also Jeff and Monica will take up residence beginning on July 1 and will have posted office hours at
Grace East campus several times a week All administrative details for both campus (phone calls
copies mailings etc) will be handled through the Grace West Campus office
Well I think thatrsquos enough for now These are exciting times here at Grace Let me encourage you that
as we maneuver through this adjustment period if you have any questions feel free to contact me
Pastor Jeff Monica or either of our office staff ndash Carol and Saralyn ndash and we will sure to do our best to
get you a timely answer
God is moving at Grace Church Irsquom so glad that you are a part of it

project $640 was collected for the $1400
project As you come amp go take time to enjoy
the sign area that many car travelers view as
they travel down 2 Mile Rd We are still
accepting donations for this project Place your
