Study Trip «IT-Sourcing India» February 2nd – 10th 2013A big paradigm shift in the delivery of services can be observed in today’s IT. To ensure competitiveness, new services and business processes have to be readily available and scalable. An optimal sourcing and offshoring of infrastructure, services and business processes is of major importance. Successful IT-Sourcing strategies require a balance between requirements and service offers, as well as an active change- and risk management.

Join us on our study trip to Pune (India) February 2nd – 10th and get to know the advantages, opportunities, risks and critical success factors of working with India in the IT market. The study trip will take place with focus on the subject of IT management, with a special emphasis on IT-sourcing. Students will be provided with a deeper insight into the Indian economy and a sustainable experience in the field of IT-sourcing.

During the course of this trip you will obtain insights into Swiss and Indian sourcing providers, as well as their clients and business consultancies. While working on a small business case with Indian IT professionals and/or students, you will gain experience in cultural differences, as well as insights into international project manage-ment and negotiating techniques and learn more about the political, social and economic aspects of India.
