IMPORTANTYour Stud Protection Kit 137 is exclusively designed for your vehicle. Please read the installation instructionsthoroughly before beginning. Installation is easier if the vehicle is clean and free of debris. For your safety, and toensure a satisfactory installation, perform all installation steps correctly in the sequence shown.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONSVEHICLE PREPARATIONGENERAL1. Park snowmobile on a flat surface.2. Push the engine stop switch down to the OFF

position.3. Turn the key to the OFF position and remove key.4. Remove rear bumper fastenersA from the tunnel.

Retain hardware for reassembly.

5. Drill out rivets that fasten the snow flap to thetunnel.

6. Remove rear bumper and snow flap as anassembly and set aside.

ACCESSORY INSTALLATION1. Working between the tunnel and track, insert four

special screwsw in one of the tunnel slots.

2. With four special screws in the slot, position therear screw to the rear of the relief in the slot.

3. Insert the leading (front) special screw through thefront hole of the wear strip.

IMPORTANTMake sure the tapered end of the wear strip ispositioned toward the front of the snowmobile.

4. Loosely install a nuteon the special screw.

5. Slide the wear strip forward as necessary andinsert the next special screw through itscorresponding hole in the strip.

NOTICETrack and rear suspension hidden for image clarity.

6. Loosely install a nut on the special screw.7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the remaining fasteners.8. Confirm the rear end of the wear strip is even with

the rear end of the cooler.

9. Tighten each nut.

TORQUEStud Protector Mount Nut:

7 ft-lbs (9 N·m)

TIPUse a deep-well socket and extension to access the

nuts through the track windows.

10.Repeat steps 1-9 for the other wear strip.

VEHICLE REASSEMBLYGENERAL1. Position the rear bumper/snow flap on the tunnel.

2. Rivet the snow flap to the tunnel. 3. Reinstall rear bumper hardware and torque tospecification.

TORQUERear Bumper Fasteners:

6 ft-lbs (8 N·m)
