Esha Gupta to play desi Lara Croft?Whether it’s for being termed as the Bhatts’ lucky mascot or for her frequent visits to the USA to visit rumoured boyfriend Armaan Gujral, Esha Gupta has regularly been in the news. The latest we’ve heard about the actor is that she is set to play the lead in the desi version of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). An industry insider reveals, Esha has often been referred to as the Indian Angelina Jolie, as she resembles her. Now, this resemblance has got her a huge project. She has been signed for an International co-production (Indo-American) to play the Indian Lara Croft. As of now, only one film has been decided upon. It remains to be seen whether there will also be an Indian version of the second film in the Hollywood franchise, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life (2003).For the uninitiated, Lara Croft is one of the most recalled roles of Jolie’s career. A fictional character, Lara is the film’s protagonist — an archaeologist who ventures into ancient, hazardous tombs and ruins around the world. The insider adds, Esha was

approached for the role as she’s tall and has a very athletic physique. Obviously, her looks are an advantage, as those who’ve seen the original will be able to connect with the film better. This is a huge project for her, considering there will be a Hollywood studio backing it along with Indian producers.Though a newcomer, Esha’s track record boasts of two back-to-back hits — Jannat 2 (2012) and Raaz 3D (2012) — which proved to be a decisive

factor in her casting.Due to the fact that her previous two films were hits, the makers weren’t hesitant to approach her, claims the insider. Apart from thisproject, the actor will also be seen in another Vishesh Films movie, thus completing her three-film contract with the banner. When contacted, Esha’s spokesperson said, We’re not at liberty to discuss anything about the project.

Shutting nightclubs will not stop crimes against women: Arjun RampalActor Arjun Rampal says his LAP nightclub in Delhi’s Hotel Samrat is losing money following restrictions on their functioning in the wake of the gang-rape of a 23-year-old woman in the capital and feels “shutting down nightclubs early is not a solution to the growing crimes against women.”Asked if he is suffering any loss due to the current scenario in Delhi, Arjun said Saturday: “Yes, of course, we are, because what happened is that the minute something like this happens, the first place that people close down early are nightclubs.” “I don’t agree with it… many feel that people will get drunk and come out, but those are not the rapists. Rapists are the people who are sick in their head. It is wrong to just clamp down,” he added. After the Dec 16 incident, the authorities had asked all discotheques and nightclubs to close by 1 a.m. LAP was one of the very few permitted to remain open till 3. The actor says people need to be protected with more manpower, and “shutting down nightclubs early is not a solution to the growing crimes against women”. However, he is all for adequate security for his club’s patrons.“Despite closing everything

early, you couldn’t stop a rape that happened on Dec 31. You need more protection, more people. If you feel uncomfortable from letting places open after a certain hour, then make a special licence. If I buy that licence, you give me some police officers who can protect my place and the people who come there. As a club owner, I only want my people who come there to be safe,” he added.Arjun opened LAP in 2009 and says he has been able to employ

people who were “gundas” (ruffians) earlier.“We also employ people… when you shut clubs and institutions down, those people will lose their jobs. What are they going to do… they are going to commit more crimes because they are not graduates. My bouncers and my security people were gundas who have got a decent job now. I am rehabilitating them. Government needs to look at all those things,” said the 40-year-old.

API: IHI Study Shows Shale Gas Development to Generate New Jobs and Revenues (USA)

THE MAGIC OF DIVERSITY“Diversity: the art of thinking independently together.” -Malcolm Stevenson

Forbes

API Vice President for Policy and Economic Analysis, Kyle Isakower, told reporters that an IHS study shows that future unconventional oil and natural gas development will generate large numbers of jobs and new revenue for government in nearly every state:“Shale energy development has transformed the U.S. energy

sector and been one of the few bright lights in our nation’s recovering economy. And it’s poised to do much more. The positive impacts are being realized in states with little or no energy development as well as in energy producing states.“Shale development has also increased the affordability of energy while helping to

reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions and strengthened U.S. manufacturing that uses low-cost natural gas, either as a feedstock, an energy input, or both. Future shale energy development could expand all of these trends. It also could encourage exports of natural gas, spurring more U.S. production and new jobs.

“While a few companies have questioned exporting U.S. energy – particularly natural gas, believing it could raise prices for them – analyses from Brookings, Deloitte, and others show the impact on prices at home would be minor. The U.S. Department of Energy says exports would be an overall plus for our economy.”

After Slowdown, India Set to Grow: World BankAfter a sharp slowdown pushing down its projected growth to 5.4 percent in the fiscal year ending March 2013, the World Bank expects India to grow at 6.4 percent this year, rising to 7.3 percent by 2015.The slowdown in India, South

Asia’s largest economy, also weakened growth in the region to an estimated 5.4 percent in 2012 (7.4 percent in 2011), said the World Bank’s latest Global Economic Prospects issued.Regional GDP is projected to grow by 5.7 percent in the

2013 calendar year, and by 6.4 percent and 6.7 percent in 2014 and 2015, respectively, driven by policy reforms in India, stronger investment activity, normal agricultural production, and improvement in export demand.

However, growth in the region remains vulnerable to an uncertain external environment and country-specific factors, the report said suggesting a resumption of financial market tensions in the Euro Area or protracted debt uncertainty in the United States would affect the South Asia region through both trade and financial channels.“Moreover, greater volatility in international financial markets could make it difficult for India to finance its widening current account deficit,” it said.South Asian countries urgently need to strengthen their macroeconomic fundamentals and rebuild their policy buffers to withstand external shocks, as well as enhance their longer-term domestic growth drivers, the report said. These can be achieved, in particular, through sustained efforts at fiscal consolidation over the medium term, maintaining prudent macroeconomic policies, deepening structural reforms to ease capacity constraints, and improving the business environment for the private sector. After a strong decline during the second quarter of 2012, industrial production in South Asia has stabilised and is picking up, with output rising at a 2.4 percent annualised pace in the three months to October, the report said.In India, industrial production surged 8.3 percent in October 2012 from a year earlier and then fell 0.1 percent in

November, partly due to a difference in timing of the Diwali festival across the years. On a seasonally adjusted

annualised basis, India’s industrial output grew 2.1 percent in the three months to November compared with the previous quarter.

Salman Khan denies fued with Shah Rukh KhanBollywood actor Salman Khan has denied reports of `feud` between him and Shahrukh Khan, saying there is no groupism at all in the film industry. “There is no groupism at all... I do my own work. I don t think there is any groupism. I don t follow anyone`s life. “If anyone comes to talk ormeet me, I will talk to them or meet them nicely. I don t care who is whose friend and all. It doesn t matter to me at all,” Salman said.A spat between Shahrukh and the `Dabangg` star a few years ago set the tongues wagging on a growing chasm between the two top guns. Gossip mills are agog about Shahrukh`s close friend Karan Johar reportedly singing paeans on Salman and apparently sending him feelers for working with him.Even Priyanka Chopra, who is considered close to the actor, and banners like Yash Raj Films seem to be warming up to Salman. The latest twist to the tale came in the form of SRK loyalist Arjun Rampal. There are reports that Arjun is going to be on Salman`s show `Bigg Boss . Arjun reportedly missed SRK`s New Year bash held in Dubai and also praised Salman for his brilliant performance in `Ek Tha Tiger . Arjun, who delivered hit films like `Om Shanti Om , `Don and `Ra.One` with Shahrukh, seemed to be gravitating towards Salman. When asked if someone who picks up fight with SRK

becomes his friend or vice versa, Salman said, “I don t think so it is that way at all”. On a rift between Shahrukh and Arjun, Salman said, “I am not even aware if there is any fight or whatever (between them). I don t think so (that Arjun is closer to me). I just met him at Sanjay Diwan s party. We just spoke for two minutes”.Meanwhile, after several seasons of reality show Bigg Boss highlighting fights, contestants hurling abuses, the sixth season has been a `family` show. And Salman is quite happy with the way the show has shaped up till now. “We wanted it that way (family show). To quite an extent it has been like that. Compared to earlier seasons, it has been parivarik (family viewing). The show is moving well and getting good TRPs,” Salman said.In this season contestants like

TV actor Rajev Paul, image consultant Imam Siddique were seen picking up fights and abusing but all of this was not as rampant as it was in the previous seasons. “Some people like that (fights). They feel it is entertainment while others don t. People do abuse when in the house and that is due to the situations. Even in normal life abuses just slip out from people when with friends but no one takes a notice of that,” he said. The contestants present in the house include model Niketan Madhok, model-actress Sana Khan, Imam Siddique, TV actors Urvashi Dholakia, Rajev Paul and Delnaaz Irani. The show began on October 7 and the finale will be held on January 12. From the current crop of contestants Salman thinks Urvashi, Niketan, Sana and Delnaaz have the chances of winning the show.

Pooja Bhatt gets abusive, threat callsActress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt has been receiving obscene and threatening calls from an unidentified guy. She has filed an official complaint Wednesday at the Bandra police station here against the caller.“Have been getting threatening/obscene calls from +918308984111. The male voice, obviously inebriated, abused me and threatened to come over,” Pooja shared on Twitter in the early hours of Wednesday. She called the police immediately, but only in vain.“I called 100 to complain. A rude female voice on the other end asked me to go to the nearest police station as she could not do anything. When I explained that it is close to 1

I have a life outside of films: Kareena KapoorShe comes from a film family and is married into another one but actress Kareena Kapoor says she endeavours to have a life outside the world of showbiz. The 32-year-old actress, who tied the knot with actor Saif Ali Khan in October last year, says she has friends outside Bollywood and shetries to keep her personal life separate from her work.“The key is to realise that we are here to work in this industry. I’m not over-friendly with anyone, I don’t get into anyone’s personal space because I don’t want people to get into mine. I have a life outside of films,” Kareena told PTI.Having faced huge media curiosity surrounding her marriage to Saif, Kareena says she prefers her work to make more news than her personal life.“Some of my friends are from the industry but most of them are not. So that is a part of life that I cherish. I go to work and come back. I want to keep it like that - go to work, come home and let my work talk

more than anything else,” she says. Post marriage the actress has been super busy shooting for brand endorsements while Saif has been shooting for ‘Bullet Raja’.“Saif has been shooting for ‘Bullet Raja’ and I have shot for ‘Dabangg 2’ song and

promoted ‘Talaash’. I have also shot for eight brands since the wedding. We actors sign up brands then we forget that we have to give them four days each to shoot. I have been shooting every day. Work is my passion and Saif respects that,” says Kareena.

Ek Tha Hrithik Roshan! There are very few actors like Hrithik Roshan. In fact, in a little over a decade that he has been an actor he’s truly an exceptional and this observation goes beyond mere acting skills. In the history of Hindi cinema actors, especially stars, have been rarely been peerless and while everyone before and after him had compete with their contemporaries, Hrithik seems to be all alone when it comes to peers.Every generation of stars in Hindi cinema had a bunch of them vying for space and attention. If Dilip Kumar shared the stage with a Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand in the 1950s, the next decade saw Rajendra Kumar, Manoj Kumar, and Shammi Kapoor battle it out. In the 1970s it was Rajesh Khanna versus Amitabah Bachchan versus the rest that included Vinod Khanna, Shatrughan Sinha, and Dharmendra and by the time the 1980s arrived Bachchan had Mithun Chakraborty and Jeetendra to outwit. The spotlight also oscillated between Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol, and Jackie Shroff during the mid-1980s and by the time the Khans – Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh arrived the focus went on a perpetual auto-rotation mode. The kind of frenzy that Hrithik’s debut created ensured that he’d be compared to the top draw of the time, Shah Rukh Khan, as opposed those who were technically his generation. Abhishek Bachchan’s foray into films happened during the time Roshan debuted with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai but barring a very exceptions like Dhoom or Bunty Aur Babli, there wasn’t any serious competition between the two.

Adnan Sami’s new album leaked onlineSinger-composer Adnan Sami, who had been gearing up for the release of his new album “Press Play” after a five-year hiatus, has faced a dampener. His album was leaked online Saturday.Slotted to be released under leading music label Universal Music Jan 23, the leak has led to great concern.Adnan was very excited about the release and had also shot teaser videos and a music video as a prelude to the release. He is disappointed.“Saying that putting an album together is hard work, is an understatement. I am deeply saddened and angry that this has happened,” Sami said in a statement.“It is not just me who is a victim of the crime, but also the team that has helped me put the album together. I sincerely request my fans and all music listeners not to download unauthorised copies of the album and tracks online,” he added. Universal Music is trying to locate the source of the leak. “It is very infuriating to deal with this situation that

hasn’t happened ever here,” Devraj Sanyal, managing director, Universal Music (India and SAARC).“The album copies are in studio for mastering and in production, and with several digital partners… so it is virtually impossible to find the source. But of this, I am

confident we will ensure we will beat this by having the legal versions up in time. As a counter measure we have pushed for an immediate digital release across partners as soon as possible,” Sanyal added. The album should officially be in markets by next week.

The year Roshan started off saw him in four roles that covered the entire gamut of emotions popular Hindi could imagine. His debut had him in a double role doing every single thing expected from a commercial Hindi cinema hero and then some. Khao Na Pyaar Hai’s Rohit and Raj had him singing, dancing, being funny, being romantic, being mysterious, fighting, saving the damsel in distress, playing the loveable poor boy, the poor little rich kid and much more. From that he went to Fiza where he played a misguided Muslim youth who takes to terrorism after witnessing communal riots and followed it up with Mission Kashmir where he again played a misguided Muslim youth only this time the setting was Kashmir. What makes Hrithik Roshan an exciting prospect to watch

is the manner in which he approaches his roles. Usually the solo lead in films like Agneepath 2 or Guzaarish would roles that an actor would expect to concentrate on but even his smaller roles like Luck By Chance or the multi-starrer Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara are the ones where you see him shining. He’s one of the very actors who isn’t conscious of sharing space with someone else; now it might be a totally different thing that he chews up almost everyone who spars with him. What makes Hrithik Roshan a league of his own is that when you think of him you can’t bring to mind any other actor he could be perfectly substituted with and yes, that does make him number 1 in the field of one.Hrithik Roshan turned 39 on 10 January 2013.

The finalization of the Canada-India Nuclear Cooperation Agreement and Social Security Agreement, the progress being made on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and Foreign Investment Protection and Promotion Agreement, Canada’s expanded diplomatic and trade promotion presence all help to explain 23% growth in bilateral trade in just one year,” said Minister Kenney. “I was pleased to contribute to this momentum, particularly through the human and cultural bridge between Canada and India made possible through CIC’s visitor and immigration programs.”

Dhoni must quit T20 captaincy: Ramiz Raja

Ganguly does not think Sehwag’s ODI career over

Former Pakistan skipper Ramiz Raja feels that time has come for Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni to quit T20 captaincy after his side’s string of losses so that some young player learns the ropes of leadership.“I expect him to possibly exit T20 arena gracefully. Let other develop the team. Let other young captains come through,” Ramiz said.“Indian subcontinent is stats-based cricket economy where fans look at the records. They do not look at how many matches India and Pakistan have won,” he told a television channel.“I feel to arrest the slide, all good administrators and all good captains take tough decisions.”Another former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram said Dhoni should continue to bat at number six and should not come up the batting order at number four.Asked if Dhoni should come up the batting order, Akram said, “I don’t think so. I feel, he is good at number six. If he come out at number four, he may not get runs.“Remember, he keeps (wicket). Keeping is most difficult in cricket. He has to sit and stand for every delivery for 300 balls and expecting him to come to bat at number four is not humanly possible,” he said.On Ishant Sharma, Akram said he was not impressed with the

pacer’s performance in the last two years.“I think his pace has come down a bit. In the last match, he gave away 86 runs in 10 overs. He has to learn quickly,” said Akram.Akram also said that maverick

paceman S Sreesanth can return to the Indian team but will have to play first class cricket.“Sreesanth can swing the ball and with the pace he has, he can be in any format of the game as long as he is physically fit.”

Australian Open: Sania Mirza knocked out of women’s doubles

Former captain Sourav Ganguly refused to think that Virender Sehwag’s ODI career was over after he was dropped from Indian squad for the first three matches of the ongoing series against England and said that the opener has still a lot of cricket left in him.Asked if Sehwag’s one-day career was over after he was dropped from the Indian squad, Ganguly said, “You can’t say such things. I feel he has lot of ability. Forget about Sehwag who has done so well in ODI. You cannot say such things about anyone. We will just have to wait and see.”On whether Mahendra Singh Dhoni should be retained as Test captain, Ganguly said it was for the selectors to decide.“Let the selectors decide that,” he told a news channel. Asked if India’s current crop of young fast bowlers will become mature and competitive by 2015, he said, “It is a young team, it is very difficult to give a time frame. We will have to wait and see how long theytake.”

India’s Sania Mirza and her American partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands crashed out in the first round of the women’s doubles at the Australian

Open, losing to Spaniards Silvia Soler Espinosa and Carla Suarez Navarro 6-7 (4-7) and 3-6 on Wednesday. The tenth-seeded Indo-US pair just could not jell, though statistically they were not very far from their Spanish

opponents. It is just that they could not press home the advantage by not being able to convert more than four of their eight breakpoints whereas the

Spaniards clinched all the five they got. Sania and Mattek-Sands had a great chance of winning the second set after losing the first set tie-break when they led 3-0 but lost the next six games in a reel to bow out of the

championships. In the ultimate analysis, the Spanish pair showed greater consistency in all aspects of the game to subdue Mirza and Mattek-Sands.

LIFE STYLE & RECIPEHAPPY DIWALI

TO ALLIncrease Metabolism To Lose WeightMetabolic Rate refers to the rate one expends calories in a given period of time. Essentially, it is the rate by which we expend energy through the chemical breakdown of “burning calories”. Not only do we spend calories during periods of work and during exercise, we also burn calories at rest simply to keep our cells alive. This is a vial point to understand! What I am referring to is known as the “Basil”, or resting, metabolic rate. In fact, you burn more during your ‘resting hours’ than you do during periods of exercise! For example, one hours worth of tennis or basketball could burn about 600 or so calories. One hour at rest may burn only 90 or so. But you might only play one hours worth of tennis three or four times a week, while your resting metabolic rate is what you burn 24/7. It is easy to see that 90 times 24 times 7 is significantly greater than 600 times 4. (90 * 24 * 7 = 15120 vs. 600 * 4 = 2400). The point I am making is not that exercise is useless, it is the importance of the bazil metabolic rate in determining the caloric balances within an individual.Balance in caloric levels is the whole point in weight control. The basic calculus is simple: calories in / calories out. The amount of calories consumed should approximate the number of calories burned for a caloric balance in maintaining weight levels. For weight loss calories in must be less than calories expended. This is a very obvious, even simplistic point, but you need to have a clear focus on that basic truth. We simply have to reduce our intake (in a healthy way) while we simultaneously increase our output. The reduction of intake through a healthy diet is the subject of a future article. This article focuses on the expenditure of calories as a tool of weight control and weight loss. The main weakness of many weight loss programs, even the good ones, is that they do not stress the importance of exercise. The main goal in weight loss ought to be the improvement of one’s health and well-being; not merely upon a more superficial look into the mirror! In fact: you CANNOT be healthy without exercise!A very powerful tool in regard to weight loss is the manipulation of the resting or Basil metabolic

rate. This rate does vary between individuals and even within a single individual from time to time. Size and age are important factors, which account for differences in metabolic rate between individuals. Another very important factor in influencing resting metabolic rate is the physical condition of the individual. Why this is true is a little too technical to fully explain here, but suffice to say that it has a lot to do with how your body is able to efficiently utilize oxygen in the chemical breakdown of sugar molecules in the process we simply call “metabolism”. If we can enhance the efficiency in which this oxygen is utilized, we can thereby increase resting metabolic rate. A different, and simpler way of looking at this is in the understanding that the human body in its miraculous design is amazingly adaptive. Push the body to habitually utilize more oxygen, push the body to habituate to burning energy at greater levels and the body will adapt to do so. What this all adds up to is the ability to increase the resting metabolic rate. This again is the rate which we burn calories 24/7, 365 days a year. We burn calories even at sleep. The idea is that even a small increase in the hourly rate of caloric expenditure will add up in time to real and permanent weight loss. Of course, bearing in mind that the increase in caloric expenditure cannot be offset by an increase in intake. Calories consumed must be less than calories expend in order to create a caloric deficit that will translate to weight loss. The topic of exactly how to diet in a healthy way will be dealt with at length in a future article (I hope you will look for it). For now just understand that you actually need to create an imbalance of calories: calories in < calories out.Resting Metabolic Rate can be increased, and such an increase when coupled with healthy dieting will lead to a healthy weight loss. Because it includes exercise as a necessary component, such a method will be among the Healthiest plans you will ever come across! The way to increase resting metabolic rate, very simply stated is though aerobic conditioning. This is of course the same as what

some people refer to as Cardio exercise. You should exercise at a sufficient intensity to reach about 80% or your “maximum heart rate”. Don’t let this term scare you! To find maximum heart rate, take your age – 220 = “Maximum Heart Rate”. Now find 80% of your Maximum. This becomes your “Target Heart Rate”A NOTE OF CAUTION: If you are very overweight or over forty, use a healthy dose of common sense. Please don’t kill yourself!!!! If you are much older, you might consult a doctor before beginning a strenuous program. Even if you are younger and in fair shape, gradually work up to this over a few weeks time. At least in the first few weeks, don’t push too hard! This program will SURELY work if you follow it correctly, but please don’t go overboard and kill yourself trying to drop a few pounds! The #1 goal should always be good health. This is well above that of looking good in a mirror! Actually, when you take good care of yourself, through good exercise, proper diet and other healthy habits; everything should fall into place. You will be healthy, feel more energetic, look better, sexier, think clearer, and have a better sex life – the subject of a future article! For the first week or two slowly condition yourself to program. Begin with a five-minute warm-up of simple walking. Then build to a heart rate of about 60%. If you opt for playing sports rather than running on a treadmill in a gym, just try to go a moderate pace to gradually condition yourself to where you want to be. When you are at the point where you can exercise to the full, then you still should begin with a warm-up of about 5 minutes. Some pre-exercise stretches can both help to warm the muscles up and prevent injury. After a five-minute warm-up, get your heart rate up to your target rate; hold it in that range for 20 to 30 minutes. Begin at lower levels and build over several weeks toward the 60-minute range, Do this initially at three times a week. Build to four. Then to five if your schedule allows. I do understand that many people have busy schedules but you must at least find time for three to four sessions if you want to gain the benefits of the program.

No item song for Sunny Leone in ‘Singh Saheb The Great’Sunny Leone has rubbished reports that she will be doing an item song in Anil Sharma’s “Singh Saheb The Great.”“No. Right now I am only focussing on ‘Ragini MMS 2′ and also PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) ad,” the 31-year-old said here Thursday at an event by PETA.Sunny, who made her Bollywood debut with “Jism 2″ in 2012, says her next “Ragini MMS 2″ will be scarier than one can imagine.“You guys are going to be really scared. I will be like jumping at you out of the screen. What happens in this movie is very, very scary. It will be more than scary,” Sunny said.Being directed by Bhushan Patel, “Ragini MMS 2″ is a sequel to the 2011 horror-thriller “Ragini MMS”.She has not started shooting for the film yet and said: “Actually, I have not quite started working with (producer) Ekta Kapoor yet, but everything so far is absolutely amazing. The songs in this movie, the introduction and everything about it so amazing.”

Neha Sharma to play the female lead in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2′After a few marginal Hindi film roles, actress Neha Sharma seems to be coming into her own.The Bhagalpur girl, who did a couple of Telugu films before making her Bollywood debut in 2010 with “Crook: It’s Good To Be Bad”, is now all set to share the screen space with yesteryear’s star Dharmendra.Neha has been chosen to play the female lead in the Deol production “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2″ and is quite over the top with glee.“Wonderful! I get to work with the legendary actor Dharmji. So I can’t consider myself more lucky. I am working with such awesome actors, all of them, so I can be more blessed,” says Neha, who appeared in a cameo in “Teri Meri Kahaani” and had a full-fledged roll in “Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum”.The success of “Yamla Pagla Deewana” resulted in the announcement of the sequel. But with the director of the original, Samir Karnik, opting out, Sangeeth Sivan has been roped in as director.

But before that, Neha will be seen in “Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story” opposite Vivek Oberoi. The film has been directed by Vinnil Markan and is produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Music Films banner.“Vinnil has made a fantastic film and I am so lucky to be a part of ‘Jayantabhai Ki Love

Story’, says Neha, adding: “I feel it is going to be one of the best films of 2013. The film is also just as entertaining as you can see in the trailer.”“Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story” is about a Mumbai goon played by Vivek who falls in love with Neha. The film is slated for a Feb 15 release.

Imran Khan finds it scary to work with Pankaj KapurActor Imran Khan, who is sharing celluloid space with Pankaj Kapoor for the first time in “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola”, says working with the veteran actor can be unnerving.“Pankaj-ji is a fantastic actor, but working with him is very scary,” Imran said here Saturday during a promotional event for his film.“As soon as the director says ‘action’, he explodes as a bomb and the actor who is standing in front of him has to be ready to take whatever he is going to do, because if you are not ready, then the whole scene may get spoilt. So, you have to be alert and have to be on your toes. It is scary,” he added. In “Matru…”, Imran and Pankaj will be seen playing the characters Matru and Mandola, respectively. The film, releasing Jan 11, also features actress Anushka Sharma. Many relate Imran with the romantic avatar he has displayed on screen through films like “Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na”, “I Hate Luv Storys” and “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu”, but he

says in real life, he isn’t so at all.“I am not romantic at all. I can’t do this – buying gifts, giving roses and all that. I feel that if you are serious about a relationship, it is more than

just that and all these things (gifting) is just for showing off,” said Imran.Post “Matru…”, Imran will be seen in “Mumbai Talkies” and “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again”.
