Sound System

Our sound system for the church was purchased through a generous donation from a long time parishioner about 9 years ago. As with any equipment, our microphones, cords and music stands have had much use and are in desperate need of an update. Upon research, a total of $4,264.00 was reached for this need. We are asking all of you to prayerfully consider a

donation to purchase these much needed necessities for

our sound system. You can place your donation of any

amount in the regular collection baskets – Please place in

a separate envelope marked “for microphones.” Thank

you in advance for your generous donations. Additional

Thank You!

Thanks to the money counters! A group of people have volunteered to count the money regularly, dedicating 3 to 4 hours every time they count the Sunday collections. It is not an easy task to count them by hand. But they are committed to this task. We deeply appreciate their volunteerism and service to our parish community. Thank You!!!

For several evenings at bedtime, Mrs. Smith had been teaching the Lord's Prayer to her three-year-old daughter, Veronica. Mrs. Smith would recite the prayer, one line at a time, and Veronica would faithfully repeat the words. Finally, Veronica decided to go solo. She carefully enunciated each word, until she got to the last phrase. "Lead us not into temptation," she concluded, "but deliver us from email." "Amen," said her mom.
