CHESTERTON ABOUT: Dale Ahlquist, founder of the American Chesterton Society, masterfully presents the genius of Catholic convert and 20th century literary giant G.K. Chesterton. He shares how this “King of Satire” predicted many of the societal ills of our day & pointed out the remedies for them. Discover the wisdom of this literary critic, playwright, novelist, Catholic theologian, and apologist. TESTIMONIAL: “COMMON SENSE, WIT AND WISDOM…Truly enjoyed this talk about G.K. Chesterton, who is quickly becoming one of my favorites! This talk is down-to-earth and has practical applications. Quips and quotes from Chesterton himself resonate with the everyday experiences of most of us, giving them credibility, substance, practicality and truth. Highly recommend and would love to hear more!” READ/EBOOK: MANALIVE--A Comic Novel about Murder, Bigamy, Burglary, Insanity, and Truth, Beauty, and the Goodness of Life ABOUT: This classic novel by the brilliant G. K. is beautifully written, mixing the ridiculous with the profound, full of hilarious dialogue and lushly detailed writing. Chesterton's main character Innocent Smith somehow manages to restore joy to all the dull and cynical lives around him. In this delightfully strange mystery, Chesterton demonstrates why life is worth living, and that sometimes we need a little madness just to know we are alive. TESTIMONIAL: “READ IT! I love this book. It is absolutely worth reading, whether you are 13 or 83, whether you like mystery novels or romance or even philosophical treatises. It manages to address some really deep ethical, philosophical, theological issues in a completely enjoyable and understandable way, and although it was written over 100 years ago, it is still incredibly relevant.” LISTEN/TALK: PURE FATHERHOOD ABOUT: Fathers are the link between heaven and earth and are intended to be an image of our Heavenly Father. Drawing on the examples of St. Joseph, Devin Schadt shows us how to become a father on earth like our Father in heaven. Devin is a husband, a father of five, and the co-founder of the Fathers of St. Joseph, an apostolate dedicated to the renewal of authentic fatherhood. Testimonial: “GOD'S BLESSINGS FLOW THROUGH DEVIN…This presentation does a wonderful job of helping fathers hear Joseph. It is a great inspiration and motivator to be the fathers that God calls us to be. I am so happy to know Devin and to attest what a great father he is. This presentation is just the tip of the iceberg of God's blessings He has provided through Devin: http://fathersofstjoseph.org/.”
