Baptism—Preparation is required for both parents, preferably during the early months of pregnancy. Contact the parish office for dates of classes.

Marriage—Contact us at least 6 months prior to your proposed wedding date to begin marriage preparation.

Christian Initiation of Adults —Adults interested in inquiring about becoming Catholic are invited to participate in this process. Sessions

are held on Monday evening September through May. Contact Deacon Dave Miller, 882-2131, for more information on the process.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament First Friday after 8:15AM Mass until Saturday 8:00AM. Please come and pray for one hour with the Lord.

Legion of Mary meets every Monday at 9:00AM in the Parish Office building. Their main ministry in our Parish is to reach out to other people to witness the Good News of Jesus. Please call the Parish Office for more information.

Parish School of Religion: Meets on Sundays from September through April at the school, 9:00-10:30AM. Coordinator: January Wadeen.

The Cursillo movement is active in our Parish. The Women’s Group leader is Ruth Wells (660-848-2490); they meet on Wednesday evenings at 5:30PM. The Saturday Morning Group meets in the parish office; contact Dave or Sue Miller at 882-2131.

Ministry to the Hospitalized and Homebound—Please contact the office when a parishioner is hospitalized or sick; we will schedule a visit and communion call, as appropriate. Due to patient confidentiality, the parish is not automatically notified of hospital admissions. **Any parishioner in need of transportation to/from Mass, please contact the office and we will attempt to schedule a ride for you. **

2016 Warriors 5K and Fun Run (by SS. Peter & Paul Home and School)

Saturday, April 30, 2016 Race Starts at 8:00AM in front of the Rectory

The race this year will start at the rectory and end at SSPP School. You can park in either parking lot. The 5K race will begin at 8:00 am, with the Fun Run immediately following. Registration forms can be picked up at the school office or the church office or online at www.stsppchurch.net. You can register the day of race between 7:00 am and 7:45 am. Childcare will be available during the 5K. Prizes will be given for the top male and female adult finishers(18 and up), as well as the top male and female 12-17 finishers. You need not be as fast as Flash, as swift as Su-perman, or as tough as Thor, just come out get a little exercise at whatever pace you choose.

PLEASE HELP OUR LOST ITEMS FIND THEIR FOREVER HOME AGAIN! Have you donated food recently to a funeral dinner, and haven't picked up your bowl, plate, pan, etc.? There are several dishes on the table located at the bottom of the stairs to the hall. Please claim them, they want to go back home with you!

Catholic Home Missions Appeal Strengthening the Church at Home

The Catholic Home Missions Appeal will take place next week. One way that this appeal works to support home mission dioceses in the United States is by suppor ng seminarian forma on in poor dioceses. The blessing of seminarians places a financial burden on these dioceses, because educa ng each seminarian costs $35-40K per year. Your support is needed for these young men so that they might go back and serve their parishes. Please strengthen the Church at home by making a generous gi to next week’s appeal.
