Our MissionCelebrate the diversity of human experience through the art of independent film

by enriching, educating and inspiring all audiences.

AIFF packs the theaters and streets of Ashland with viewers who value

(above all else, according to our surveys) the “sense of community” the festival

offers. Since 2001, The Ashland Independent Film Festival has been bringing

residents, neighbors and visitors together to celebrate American independent

cinema and the artists who create it.
