Rezando por la vida Durante la Cuaresma, comenzando el miércoles de Ceniza, rezaremos el rosario para los no nacidos de lunes a sábado a las 6 pm. El domingo, será antes de la misa de 11:45am. Cada segundo sábado del mes durante la Cuaresma, rezaremos el rosario frente a las clínicas de abortos. Para aquellos que quieren ir a rezar el rosario todos los sábados en las clínicas de aborto, siéntase libre de hacerlo. Todos son bienvenidos!

Colecta Católica Anual de 2019 La Educación Católica, los Servicios Pastorales de Recuperación de Adicciones, o los Servicios de Comunidad de Fe para Adultos Mayores, son parte de los más de 50 apostolados que enriquecen la vida parroquial, nuestras escuelas católicas y las vidas de aquellos que acuden a la Iglesia para obtener ayuda. Second Collec"on Next Weekend

Next week’s second collec.on will support the

Church in those underdeveloped areas of the

world. Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the Church in

La.n America (CLA), the Church in Africa and in

Central and Eastern Europe and three important

na.onal Catholic missions: the Military

Archdiocese, Home Missions, and the Black and

Indian Missions. Your generosity will help fund the

spiritual, educa.onal and humanitarian needs of

Lent Retreat We will have our Lent Retreat on March 9, star.ng

at 8:30am. Breakfast will be served and we ask

$10 for lunch. Everyone is welcome!!

Praying for Life

During Lent, star.ng on Ash Wednesday, we will be

praying the rosary for the unborn Monday through

Saturday at 6pm. On Sunday, it will be before the

11:45am Mass. Every second Saturday of the month

during Lent, we will go pray the rosary in front of

abor.on clinics. For those who want to go to pray

the rosary every Saturday at the abor.on clinics,

feel free to do so. Everyone is welcome to join.

Un día estaba Jesús enseñando, y se habían sentado por allí

algunos fariseos y maestros de la ley venidos de todas las

aldeas de Galilea, y de Judea y Jerusalén. El poder de Dios se

manifestaba en Jesús cuando curaba a los enfermos. … Cu-

ando Jesús vio la fe que tenían, le dijo al enfermo: –Amigo,

tus pecados quedan perdonados. Entonces los maestros de la

ley y los fariseos comenzaron a pensar: “¿Quién es este, que

se atreve a decir palabras ofensivas contra Dios? Tan sólo

Dios puede perdonar pecados…..” Lc 5,17.20-26

TU PALABRA ME ILUMINA

Jesus muestra su poder en el servicio, sanando a los enfermos. En esta oportunidad primero brinda su amistad al enfermo perdonándole sus pecados, tratándolo como persona, devolviéndole su dignidad. Luego, el enfermo recupera el caminar. La sanación [sica y espiritual ocurre como regalo, como don. Un dato importante es la par.cipación de los amigos, la par.cipación de la comunidad en el proceso de encuentro, liberación y sanación. La fe de la comunidad .ene fuerza, como lo demuestra este domingo el evangelio. Por la fe de otros nosotros podemos cambiar de vida cuando nuestra alma está enferma y aunque sea imposible por nosotros mismos alcanzar la sanación, Jesús siempre nos la regala como don y como tarea, como regalo y con el compromiso de rehacer la vida. ¿Qué estoy haciendo por los demás? ¿Qué abierto estoy a que Jesús me sane?

lage of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem, and the power of

the Lord was with him for healing... When he saw their

Jesus shows his power in service, healing the sick. In this opportunity, he first offers his friendship to the pa.ent, forgiving his sins, trea.ng him as a person, restoring his dignity. Then, the pa.ent regains walking. Physical and spiritual healing occurs as a present, as a giG. An important fact is the par.cipa.on of friends, the par.cipa.on of the community in the process of encounter, libera.on and healing. The faith of the community has strength, as the Gospel demonstrates this Sunday. By the faith of others we can change our lives when our soul is sick and although it is impossible for us ourselves to achieve healing, Jesus always gives it to us as a giG and as a task, and with the commitment to rebuild life. What am I doing for others? How open am I to Jesus healing me?
