Major Field of Application:-
Major Field of application of the short range radar is Home Security. It has a fixed position in the house and detects the surrounding objects moving around it. There is no need of surveillance or human supervision.
The second best application lies in the roots of the radar, i.e. Moving Target Detection. Any object moving in the vicinity of the radar gets its attention. The position of the object is displayed on the screen of the radar; hence any unwanted object or person can be caught within permissible limits.
Literature Survey:-
Searching and zeroing on a project is a rather difficult job, cause it forms the base and crux of the project. The projects under consideration form a long list among which the concept of microcontroller was ubiquitous. The project with consensus was a microcontroller based short range radar. But the problems are quite inevitable and the first of them understanding the concepts involved and realization of the concepts, which we could overcome by the age-old method of group discussion and contribution. The second was the unavailability of components. But dropping at every other electronics components store helped and we got many of the components and solemn assurance about few of them. So our basic needs are fulfilled and we are ready to sail on the voyage of making our project.
