• 1. Eye protection must be worn at all times. Safety glasses and Full Face shield recommended

• 2. All guards must be properly adjusted.

• 3. The tool rest must be adjusted to 1/8 from the wheel.

• 4. Do not grind on the side of the grinding wheel.

• 3. Do not over tighten, Know the torque of the bolt you are tightening.

• 1. Inspect before using (oil leaks, missing or loose parts)

• 2. Look up the proper lift points if you do not know where to lift the car.

• 3. Make sure the jack is secure and properly aligned under the car.

• 4. Apply park brake or block wheels so car will not roll

• 5. Never raise car while someone is under it

• 6. After you start to raise the car examine your lift points double check to make sure it is secure plus properly aligned

• 7. Always use a jack stand

• 3. Do not point blasting nozzle towards glass

• 3. Never use as a cleaner.

• 4. When opening fuel lines use safety glasses, relieve fuel pump pressure and wrap a rag around the fuel line.

• 1. Hook up exhaust hoses and turn on fan or have exhaust hose go outside the shop

• 2. Make sure car exhaust does not leak along the exhaust pipe. Run car outside if it does.

Soldering Guns• 1. Always wear approved eye protection. • 2. Work in a well-ventilated area and avoid

inhaling soldering fumes. • 3. Observe all rules for handling hot materials. • 4. Do not flip excess molten solder off the tip of

solder gun. Wipe it off with a piece of steel wool.

solder gun. • 6. Never leave the solder gun unattended with the

electrical cord plugged in. • 7. Always disconnect cord and allow the tip to

cool before changing soldering tips. • 8. Soldering flux can cause burns. Clean up flux

immediately.

Every Shop should have a book that contains all the MSDS’s for the shop do you know where it is located?
