John Doble (Playwright) Plays include: “The Mayor who Would be Sondheim,” “Reunion Run,” and “To Protect the Poets” (all in the NYC Fringe Festival); “A Serious Person” (Belper Prize, Belper, UK, and the 2020 Georgia College Drama Prize); “Tatyana and the Cable Man” (Best Play, Midtown International Theatre Festival, NYC); “Coffee House, Greenwich Village” (59E59 Off Broadway, NYC and the LaBute Festival, St. Louis); “Twilight Time” (LaBute Festival, St. Louis and the Last Frontier Theater Festival, Valdez, Alaska); “Nothing New Under the Sun” (William Faulkner Literary Competition, New Albany, MS); and “ESP” (The Acronym Festival, Urban Stages, NYC). Screenplays: THE AMEN SISTERHOOD received the prestigious 2020 Humanitas New Voices Award; THE ROMMEL GAMBIT is a semi-finalist in several national competitions. His short stories have appeared in numerous literary magazines and a well-received collection, Lefty and Other Stories, was published by Clemson University. This play, like everything else, is for Elizabeth Ann, my muse and everything else for 46 years and counting. Iona Sun Holder (Director) Directing credits include "Stick Fly," "Death of a Salesman," "The Last Five Years," "Proposals," "Steel Magnolias," "Leveling Up," "The Marriage Counselor" and numerous new plays through the Arts & Letters Drama Prize at GCSU. She has served as Literary Adjudicator for ME Film Festival and the Arts & Letters Drama Prize. Iona and Jimmy are owners of Blackbird Coffee and Birdhouse Theatre.
Mason Baxter (Mass Comm 2021, Man) is ecstatic to be in the show. He wants to thank Iona Holder, his talented cast mate, and incredible crew for giving such a rewarding experience. He is thankful to have been a part of the Arts and Letters production. Mary Morgan Collier (Theatre 2024, Woman) Past shows include: “Giving Voice” (cast); “Alice in Wonderland” (Sound Board Op). Mary Morgan wants to thank her Pep Pep and this rockin’ cast and crew! Also, respectfully shoutout to her bestie. Anna Cagle (Theater 2023), Costume Designer. Past shows include: “Alice in Wonderland” (Makeup Assistant), Lions in Illyria” (Dresser), and “Shooting star” (Light board operator). Anna wants to thank everyone for such an amazing opportunity! Sophia Clark (Music and Theatre 2023, Props Master) Past Shows: Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat” (Narrator); “Guys and Dolls” (Adelaide); “Heathers” (Martha Dunnstock). Sophia would like to say thank you and I love you to her friends and family! Emma Eisnaugle (English 2022, Stage Manager) Past shows include: “Giving Voice” (Co-Stage Manager, KCACTF Finalist); “Heathers” (Assistant Stage Manager). Emma wants to thank Iona Holder.
Clay Garland (GCSU Theatre '17) Cinematographer and Video Editor) Clay is honored and grateful to have worked alongside the talented cast and production team of Patron Saint/ Serious Person. With the Department of Production Services he has been a team leader in streaming and recording the Georgia College Music Department's concerts for this academic year, as well as performing the role of Cinematographer for Alice in Wonderland and Giving Voice as well. He would like to thank his family and friends for their constant love and support. Erden Mohl (Theatre, 2022, Board Op.) Past shows include: "Heathers: The Musical" (Veronica Sawyer); "Alice in Wonderland" (Knave); and "Ballet Russes" (Romola de Pulszky). Erden is so excited to be a part of this production! Mia Phillips (Theatre 2024, Assistant Stage Manager) Past shows include: "Alice in Wonderland" (Assistant Lighting Designer); "Heathers" (Board Operator); "24 Hour Plays" (Assistant Stage Manager). Mia would like to thank the cast, Iona, and her family for their support! Olivia Vaughn (Theater 2022, Lighting Designer) Past shows include:"Barbeque" (Assistant Stage Manager); "Ago" (House Manager); "Urban Bush Women" (House Manager).
