Rules for Choice of Elective Papers:
1. There are SIX papers of Elective courses. First Elective course contains FOUR papers and Second Elective course contains TWO Papers.
2 In Semester I, the students have to select their first Elective Course. Choice is between Ala krastra and Vedntastra. One can choose Either Ala krastra or Vedntastra. If a student selects Ala krastra in semester I, the same should be selected in all the remaining semesters. If one selects Vedntastra, then the same should be selected in all the remaining semesters. One cannot change his/her choice of elective course, once opted in semester-I.
3 In Semester III, the students have to select their second Elective course. Choice is between Pur astra and Dharmastra. One can choose Either Pur astra or Dharmastra. If a student selects Pur astra in semester III, the same should be selected in Semester IV. If one selects Dharmastra, then the same should be selected in semester IV. One cannot change his/her choice of elective course, once opted in semester III.
4 Only the Regular students of Department of Sanskrit can offer Elective-06, Dissertation.
Format of Question Paper
Instructions:
(1) There will be two Sections in Question Paper. First Section contains 4 Questions for 70 Marks and Second Section contains 2 Questions for 30 Marks. Regular Students have to attend First Section only and External students have to attend both the sections.
(2) Time for the first section will be 2 Hours and 15 Minutes for Regular students and 3.00 Hours for both External students.
