Cleaning Cycle Reports

Advantages• Hands-off data collection. Cleaning cycle information is

automatically captured and organized.

• Easy-to-understand data. Cleaning cycle charts and tables are available in a clear and concise format for easy review and analysis.

• Online access. The SaniTrend Cloud portal is securely accessible for unlimited facility users on mobile, tablet, or desktop - across multiple facilities, if desired.

• Know what your system knows. Features such as dashboards, OEE reports, trend history, and alerts all provide actionable insights into cleaning system operation.

• Subscription based service. Provides a lower entry cost, eliminates the maintenance of additional external hardware, and automatically keep current with the latest updates.

• Eliminate paper documents. Remove both handling and storage costs and time associated with paper documentation.

SaniTrend Cloud’s online portal interfaces with the cleaning system’s Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) through an edge device to collect and store cleaning cycle data.

Users log in via the SaniTrend Cloud portal and can review, comment on, or approve (if permissions are given) cleaning cycle reports.

When the recipe is selected, the user can view cleaning wash cycle data including critical analog date, recipe step data and cleaning cycle event log.

The data collected includes the following:

• Cycle ID• Recipe name• User ID• Analog values &

setpoints (e.g., Temperature, Flow, Pressure, Conductivity)

• Recipe step data• OEE Values

• Alarms • Messages and operator

interactions (e.g., pause actions)

• Start and end time• Run time (programmed

and actual)• Approval status

The SaniTrend Cloud Online Data Acquisition & Management System is a Software-as-a-Service that is available with any new PLC-controlled, automated cleaning system from Sani-Matic. It can also be retrofitted with any existing Sani-Matic automated cleaning system that has an Allen-Bradley® CompactLogixTM or higher PLC processor.

Time Action Time Action Chemical Chemical TemperatureTemperature

The SaniTrend Cloud Data Acquisition & Management System monitors the TACT cleaning principles:

• Time (length of time) • Action (flow rate, pressure) • Chemical (conductivity) • Temperature (supply and return temperatures)

Industry Standard Compliance• Meets FSMA requirement for reporting

• Meets PMO’s requirements for electronic records [Appendix H, Section V (Criteria for the Evaluation of Electronic Data Collection, Storage, and Reporting)].

Operating Requirements• Sani-Matic Automated Cleaning System• Allen-Bradley CompactLogix or higher

PLC Processor• Broadband Internet Access (Ethernet or WiFi

(with optional WiFi access module)• Internet Browsers - Chrome (preferred)• Screen Size - 1920 x 1080 (preferred) Protect and store

DashboardThe dashboard allows for a quick view of operational status such as time remaining on cleaning cycles, recipe information, user information, and current analog values. Customizable Dashboard gadgets (shown) can create a personalized look into system status.

TrendingSearchable trending charts allow users to review past analog values for troubleshooting activities.

Documentation AccessThe SaniTrend Cloud portal contains an area for accessing unique system documentation, giving the users who need it access to turnover package documentation, such as:

• P&ID and BOM• General Assembly Drawings• Electrical Drawings

the stringent audits of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.• PTC Cloud data centers are SSAE16 SOC 2 Type II Security

& Availability Trust Principles audited for the US and ISAE 3402 internationally.

• Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS (Transport Layer Security).

• Content secured using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128 algorithm.

System Operation Insights

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) TrendingCleaning system OEE trends can be used to monitor performance of the system and user operation by evaluating the following parameters:

• Availability. Answers the question “How often is my cleaning system being used (during planned cleaning time)?” to see impacts of alarms and operator stops.

• Performance. Answers the question “Is anything slowing down my cleaning cycle speed?” to see cycle step holds (e.g., heating time or water fills) that could be optimized.

• Quality. Answers the question “How often am I not completing a full cleaning cycle?” to investigate root causes of aborted cycles.

• Overall OEE. An overall score to evaluate all OEE parameters together for a single cleaning system.

In addition to critical cleaning cycle reports, SaniTrend Cloud allows for insights into system operation, useful for maintenance, operators, quality, engineering & management.

Securely store all cleaning cycle data and system information with SaniTrend Cloud.

SaniTrend Cloud can be enhanced and complemented with the following options:

• WiFi Connection Package. Enables connectivity for the system over local WiFi in place of Ethernet. This package includes an external, washdown rated WiFi hotspot.

• Remote Access Package. Enables Sani-Matic technicians to securely and remotely access your PLC and HMI files to assist with cleaning updates, changes or troubleshooting.Remote access service is billed at an hourly rate for updates, depending on service required.

SaniTrend Cloud: Providing Solutions for Common Cleaning System Problems

Facility Concerns SaniTrend Cloud Solutions

Paper trail cleaning records are incomplete, lost, or forgotten – resulting in insufficient or incomplete cleaning records.

Persistent problems or alarms on systems are causing unexpected downtimes or increased cycle cleaning times.

Quality Assurance (QA) personnel struggle to find and review cleaning records, delaying the return to production runs.

I don’t know how my cleaning system is performing or what I can do to optimize performance.

Chart recorders are difficult to read and interpret.

Inefficiency and safety concerns from too many personnel gathered around the cleaning system to manually collect data or retrieve paper chart records; interaction between quality personnel, managers and operators are needed to discuss details of cleaning cycles.

Operators leave the cleaning system to perform other job duties, and return back to system well before or after a cycle is completed.

Clear, scaled, and interactive electronic charts are accessible within the cleaning cycle review area. Tabled numerical data also provides exact numbers when required.

Check the dashboard for status of the cleaning cycle via percentage complete or remaining time to clean informational gadgets. Or, be notified by alerts when cycles are completed.

Automatic cleaning cycle reports are generated minutes after every cleaning cycle is completed – stored electronically in the cloud and accessed anywhere by anyone from your team.

Search cleaning cycles that contained alarms or were aborted cycles, and receive the data needed to ask the right questions to address reoccurring issues. Check analog and digital data via customizable trending/history charts to pinpoint issues.

OEE trends offer insight into cleaning system availability, performance and quality.

Review all data remotely; comment as needed to share and store discussion notes.Assign users to be “quality

approvers” to easily and quickly review and approve cleaning cycle reports from anywhere.
