Notices For the Week. Parish finance. Collection: First collection for the Parish amounted to £703.12 Gift Aid amounted to £516.47 Second collection for “Parish needs.”“ amounted to £179.50 This week-end second collection is for “ Cafod Harvest Fast Day” Thank you for your generosity.

Offertory collection:

Offertory collection is an essential part of the Mass, and it has been observed that some people are unable to make their offering due to poor coordination by our children. The proper way to do this is for adult wardens to pass the bags around at all Masses and then give them to children to bring the bags for-ward to the Sanctuary. Please take note that children are not permitted to take the bags around for collection.

Mission Sunday. 18th October 2015.

Carmel Tertullien,

Thank you Lord.......

For the roof over my head and a bed to sleep on.

There is food on my table and shoes on my feet.

Your loving touch is everywhere, forgive me if I ever forget to thank You for these great blessings, and if I ever start to complain.

Let me live each day full of praise and thanks, immersed in Your grace. Amen

Never take someone for granted. Hold every person close to your heart be-cause you might wake up one day and realise you’ve lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones.

Don’t think of the things you did not get after praying. Think of the countless blessings God gave you without asking.

The month of the Holy Rosary is October and the entire month is dedicated to the Rosary.

The feast day of the Holy Rosary is Octo-ber 7th. This feast was instituted to hon-our the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the church in answer to praying the Rosary by the faithful.

The feast day was introduced by Pope PiusV (1504-1572) in the year 1571. This victory was attributed to the power of the Rosary.

“If you want peace in your heart, in your home, in your country, assemble together every night and say the Rosary.”

Pope Pius X.
