NEW SACOGUARD™ HF 0103-212 HFFR COMPOUND SĀCO Polymers has expanded its product line offering of high performance insulation and jacket compounds available for wire and cable manufacturers. SACOGUARD™ HF 0103-212 is a thermoplastic HFFR jacket compound that is designed for use in a wide variety of cable markets including tray cable, power limited cable, industrial and control cable & military and shipboard cable. SACOGUARD™ HF 0103-212 is designed for use with PEXIDAN™ UL 44 rated insulation compounds to surpass UL 1277 Tray Cable standards. The 0103-212 is lead free, REACH and RoHS compliant and is available in both black and natural.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS

• LOI values up to 40% indicate excellent flame resistance necessary to meet large scale industry fire tests.

• Low smoke density and acid gas emission values that comply with mass transit industry standard requirements for HFFR compounds.

• Excellent balance of physical and mechanical properties, low temperature properties and weatherability:

• Specific gravity of 1.50 • UV Resistant • 90°C rated • Excellent cold temperature properties

• Designed for use on conventional extrusion equipment. Able to achieve high extrusion line speeds.
