Introduction:

SABIT BITUMEN DAMPPROOFING TYPE I is an oxidized Asphalt produced by oxidizing a selected petroleum asphalts without adding catalyst.

SABIT BITUMEN DAMPPROOFING TYPE I has good adhesive and healing properties.

Uses

SABIT BITUMEN DAMPPROOFING TYPE I is suitable for use as a mopping coat in damp-proofing or as a plying or mopping cement in the construction of membrane waterproofing system. It is suitable for use underground under uniformly moderate temperature condi-tions.

Application:

By mopping or by the pour and roll method. Should be heated to a temperature between 180 to 200 .

Coverage:

Bonding coats: approximate 1.5kg/m Flood coats : approximate 3.0kg/m

Health & Safety:

Workers should wear protective masks, gloves, and goggles during application. The asphalt can be removed from equipment and tools with kerosene or gasoline. Care should be taken when heating SABIT BITUMEN DAMPPROOFING TYPE I to avoid over heating.

Packing & Storage:

SABIT BITUMEN DAMPPROOFING TYPE I can be supplied in cans and drums. Should be stored in vertical position, and preferred under shaded area.
