Many thanks to our faithful parishioners for your generosity this Easter! A special thanks to our Faith For-

mation students in grades 4 and 6, with catechists Casey Sorrendo and Thea Lewis for making the ‘bunny

bags’ for St. Lucy’s Easter celebration. The children loved them!

For the last two weeks of April candles have been lit in loving

RESPECT LIFE

Seventy-one percent

That’s the percentage of infants born at 22-23 weeks that are sur-

viving premature birth, according to a new study published in the

Journal of the American Medical Association of Pediatrics. These

little fighters are sending shockwaves through the medical commu-

nity. They are defying the odds at record rates, and doctors are

now demanding that they receive full rights to medical treatment

and be given a chance at life.

At the Easter Vigil last Saturday night, Kristin and Mi-chael Faulkner celebrated the Sacraments of Initiation as Adult Catholics. Kristin received the Sacrament of Eucharist, where for the very first time she came to the Table of the Lord to receive His Body and Blood at the most important and holiest of all liturgies in the Church’s liturgical year. Both she and Mike joined all of those who profess their faith in the teachings of the Catholic Church through the Sacrament of Confirma-tion. This journey of our RCIA Candidates is never done alone. The parish community is an integral part of their process into the faith. We invite them into our minis-tries, we get to know them, and most importantly we pray for them as we walk their journey alongside of them.

Congratulations to Nick and Josephine Pagano on the occasion of

their 75th Wedding Anniversary!

May God continue to Bless you with health and happiness

You are a blessing to us all!

Our God Reigns Prayer Group

Meets Tuesdays at 4pm in the Reading

Room at St. Charles. Men and women

of St. Charles-St. Ann’s are invited to

attend.

Please bring a rosary, bible

and your prayer requests.
