From the desk of Father Brian….
This week marks the beginning of the Annual Hope Appeal. As in the past, the
Hope Appeal is an essential part of insuring the Diocese of Syracuse can con-
tinue to support a great number of service and outreach programs that touch
so many lives in the seven counties of the diocese. It is my hope that each of
us prays carefully and considers a generous gift to the Hope Appeal this year.
From the 95,000 men, women and children it has helped to feed to the 8 semi-
narians it helps support, the Hope Appeal continues to be a blessing for our
Church in Syracuse. Please consider a gift to support the ongoing work of the
Church. As the poster says, “Your Gift Makes a Difference”.
Thank you for your support of our parish and the diocese.
Peace,
Father Brian

RESPECT LIFE
Planned Parenthood wants to focus on abortion and it does so under
the guise of protecting women and their reproductive health. Never
mind that its so-called services result in the deaths of preborn chil-
dren and the suffering of those women who abort their babies. For
Planned Parenthood the bottom line is its bottom line—making money
and serving itself instead of its customers.
This is why it is so important for pro-life Americans to spread the
truth about Planned Parenthood and to tell everyone they know that
our tax dollars have been subsidizing its gruesome efforts for far too
long. Now is the time to cut off Planned Parenthood from those dol-
lars.
St. Charles Food Pantry The pantries are in desperate need of paper products—paper towels, toilet pa-
per, tissues, soaps of all kinds- laundry, hand, bar soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. etc.
Thank you!

YOU ARE INVITED!
This summer we’ll be having an EarthKeepers adventure at St. Ann School, and we’d love to have YOU join us! We’re planning some fun songs, games, snacks, Bible stories, and much more as we learn all about God’s creation and the ways that we can care for it.
I am really excited about all the fun activities we will be doing in learning about God’s creation. Pope Fran-cis wrote us all a letter about creation, so we’ll learn what he said and what he’s asked us to do. We’re also going to hear some great Bible stories, like when God taught people not to take more than they needed when others had very little. Or how we can do things differently to save our planet.
Here’s how to join us:
